Lock & Key: A Magical Girl Mystery's updated demo is now available to everyone! We've completely overhauled the look of Lock & Key, featuring brand new character artwork by milkgrrl, an updated UI, and more. It was previously released for Patrons on our Demo Access tier, which gives Patrons early access to demo & beta builds for some of our games. This new demo comes out to mark the beginning of our Kickstarter campaign! We have physical game copies, an artbook, keychains, and more up for preorder as part of the campaign. - New Artwork! - 13 August 2024
Lock & Key is getting an art upgrade! The main artist, milkgrrl, is redoing some of the artwork to make it more stylized and expressive. Most of these artwork upgrades are finished and we've shown off some of them before on our Patreon and Discord server, so today we're compiling a lot of the new artwork into one post. For reference, this is what the old character sprite art looks like in the current demo. We also have some casual outfits for the girls! And we also have some new screenshots with these sprites and an updated GUI! This updated artwork will be available in a new demo coming out in around a month.
