• 3rd Anniversary of Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea! - 30 December 2024

  Today marks the 3rd anniversary of Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea! 3 years ago today it released after a short few months of development. The original concept was simple—an unlikely duo travel the Victorian countryside and towns searching for a cure to vampirism. The story expanded into the 26k adventure it is today, focused on the four main characters Nemo, Cecil, Lucie, and Ambrose. Since release, over 4k people have traveled with them across Steam & itchio! Earlier this year we announced a sequel game, Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea: Amaranthine Moon, set around 5 years after the events of the first game, following Lucie as the protagonist in an otome-style mystery with 3 love interests. We've been working on this sequel for months and recently released an updated demo in October. If you're eager to see the main 4 back again as well as a new cast of characters, then give it a try…

• GUI Overhaul + Other Updates - 8 January 2023

  Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea recently celebrated its 1st anniversary! It's been played over 2,000 times across Steam and itch.io- thank you to everyone who's played it so far! Today's update of the game is mostly graphical. The GUI was always a placeholder one and now the full GUI has been implemented! This GUI overhaul includes a Gallery, a new menu that allows you to see the cut scene artwork from the game. This menu can be accessed once you finish the game. Along with the updated GUI, I also fixed a few typos in the script. This will most likely be the last update for the game, so I hope you enjoy! • Release! - 30 December 2021

  Crimson Waves on the Emerald Sea is now released! 🎉🎉🎉 After 4 months of solo development, CWES is now out to the world. What started as a few scribblings in my sketchbook in August is now a fully playable story about a group of 4 people navigating the Victorian era and the aftermath of an unsolved vampire attack from a decade prior. Treat this more as a tale that you're coming along for the ride for rather than an interactive story, as this is a kinetic novel with no choices. Sit back for 2 hours and follow Cecil and Nemo along their travels.
