It's been just 2 weeks since Summum Aeterna was released in version 1.0 and we can already announce a new free DLC that will be available before the end of 2023. The new content is titled “The Witcher Awakening” and will offer a multitude of new features that will add more hours of play and fun to the current version. The free DLC will include a new type of weapon, the ornaments, magical artifacts that work very differently from the weapons, requiring players to adopt a new style of play when defeating the final bosses and the hordes of enemies. In addition to allowing access to devastating new tools of destruction, upcoming content for Summum Aeterna will also include a “seed history”. The clock is ticking... What makes Summum Aeterna a unique Roguelite experience? Among its gameplay features, the seed mechanic is the most anticipated. Summum Aeterna includes a unique world generator system never seen before in the genre, the Seed Mechanic... Each one generates a unique world with different enemy behaviour, special events, and even a larger map size, depending on the rarity and the genes contained in the germinated seed. The world modifiers, so-called “seed genes” are positive and negative attributes included in each seed you find. They will determine the dangers, encounters and rewards waiting for you once you start playing. You can generate the world that best suits your playstyle.
