  Have you ever experienced playing other colony simulation games where all your units seem identical? If so, SuperColony offers a refreshing and unique experience by providing a wide variety of ants with distinct characteristics and abilities. In SuperColony, the individual components of an ant play a crucial role in determining its capabilities. For example, equipping your ant with Ladybug arms enhances their defence, while powerful jaws enable them to effectively dismantle enemies. In some cases, certain parts may even grant the ability to explode or unleash toxic floral attacks upon foes! However, the influence of these parts doesn't end there. Each component also affects an ant's behaviour within the colony. Workers and non-combatant ants may be naturally inclined to flee from danger, prioritizing the colony's safety. • The secret of ant communication revealed! - 19 September 2022

  In nature, whenever an ant has something worth communicating to the rest of the colony, they make a new pheromone marker. They do this for food, threats, and even new locations for homes! In SuperColony, you will use pheromones to direct your colony too! You will place markers with control over range and importance. Those markers send the signal you want to the entire colony AI, and then they will determine which ants are the best for the job! You can set different types of pheromones, from Exploration to Harvest and War, down to more specific options within each, like Guarding and Patrolling within the War pheromone. In nature, ants place pheromones when they encounter something important, and then they run back to the colony, leaving behind them a trail.   In SuperColony, you will need to manage your colony following similar principles. After your Queen consumes enough protein, she can produce larva. Then you set the required caste that needs to be grown. Tip - The bigger and stronger the ant, the more protein required.. You will also need to watch signs of hunger levels. The Colony, in fact– all creatures are emotive, indicating to you and those around them when they are hungry. If you have access to enough food to feed everyone, you can grow your numbers. Maybe, stock carbs in advance.. just don’t let anyone find out. This strategy applies in times of peace... In the time of war hunger could be the last thing you consider before sending your troops to protect the Queen. One bonus is that you can eat most of the things that you defend your colony against!
