In previous devlogs, we talked about classic farming – watering with a can, growing outdoors, and so on. Hello fellow villagers! 👋 A few devlogs ago we’ve introduced some of the inhabitants of our Daomei Village to you. You were interested in hearing about them so today we’ve invited some more to introduce themselves and share their stories! 💬 🏹 Qiqiang and Wushi 🐶 Archery used to be a virtue of all the Chinese Emperors and they enjoyed spending their time hunting. This brings us to the first person living in our village- Qiqiang, the former Chief Hunter of the royal palace. Was achieving this feat all his own effort or help from his father, he’s not sure. The fact is, there was not a single person able to match his archery skills. You may wonder, how could such a talented person end up exiled… One day the order came for Qiqiang to hunt wild birds for the upcoming feast. Hello Players! 👋 We recall you’ve not had an opportunity to visit your future neighbors- the lovely habitants of Daomei Village at their homes. Today, it’s time to change that! We’re happy to invite you for a tour around their places. 🏠 As we’ve previously mentioned, throughout your gameplay you’ll have access to most of the houses, being able to come in during the day. We’re happy to see you back after a while and today we’d like to talk about an important part of the daily activities of everyone around here. Today, we’ll talk about ☀️day & night🌑 cycle! In our village, different opportunities and possibilities come at different times but they also impose certain rules we’d like you to follow. With that being said, let’s give you some examples! 📝 During the day, you’ll be able to complete quests and assignments, craft items, explore the areas relatively safely or focus on the agricultural aspect of the gameplay. Today, we’d like to take you for a short tour to take a closer look at some of the animals you’ll come across while spending time in Daomei Village. 🐄. Some of them you’ll only meet in the wild, while others will await your return at home. Farm animals 🐑 They’re all the animals you can take care of and house in the special buildings. Given enough care and attention they’ll even be happy to see the player! 💝 Taking care of the farm animals also serves a different purpose. Hello Players! 👋 Welcome back to the humble Daomei Village. You’ve come just in time to learn some things about crafting. 🧰 There are different stations available in our village which you can interact with in order to craft items. At first, you’ll have to use the ones already available in the village but once you progress enough with your crafting mastery you’ll be able to build the proper crafting stations at home. But before we start crafting, let’s talk about the knowledge you need to get grasp of to be able to create items- recipes. You can receive them through various activities, some will be waiting for you in the long forgotten chests as rewards for your exploration. Hello Daomei Enjoyers! 👋 We’re glad to see you again in another devlog from our lovely village! 💝 Currently, we’re working hard to put the finishing touches on the village construction! Welcome back to our humble Daomei Village! 👋 Autumn is a beautiful time in our village. It’s also a good time to take a closer look at the task ahead. 🙂 As you’re well aware, the main in-game goal is to restore the Village and help it regain its former glory. Not of the kindness of your heart though… We know you are just doing it so that the Emperor would acquit you. Not like it matters though, does it? 🤷 There are many buildings in the village, therefore some of them will be possible to upgrade right from the start, while some will require more effort like completing a task. 📝 Buildings like that are discovered through various activities like talking. 💬 One of such places is Xiaoming’s house.
