    Youkoso! Sengoku Dynasty is in Early Access and the scrolls are going into the seventh installment. What's in it? For starters, some underworld. Figuratively and literally. Topics include funerals and the associated rites in ancient Japan and the Jizō, the companions of the underworld. Furthermore, we deal with material that is also important in the game: buildings. Buildings in Japan follow a typical construction method, as you will learn. Everyone has certainly heard the name Hattori Hanzo, it has often been mentioned in modern pop culture, but what is behind this character? Spoiler: He is not a swordsmith.     Youkoso! As work continues diligently on the game, let's take a quick look at some of the contents of the latest scrolls. Ame-no-Uzume is a legendary figure of the Japanese pantheon. She is much discussed among scholars and we try to find a context to a dance. An important figure of the late Sengoku and early Edo era is Date Masamune, a warlord and daimyo from northeastern Japan who helped Tokugawa Ieyasu to victory at the Battle of Sekigahara.
