• Summer Numbers is out now!!! - 23 December 2021

  We are excited to announce that Summer Number is out now! Summer Numbers is a challenging puzzle game where you try to maximize your score against the AI or a second player. The rules are simple, yet a good amount of strategy is needed to win. Luck is also a factor, since the playing board is randomly generated. Winning on an unlucky board by overturning the results during the last turns is sweetly rewarding. The AI has 3 difficulty levels and gets progressively less predictable and more subtle over the course of 10 levels. At the end of each level, if you win, you are presented a beautifully hand-drawn illustration. As you progress through the game, you also unlock achievements and at the end of the game you get a bonus illustration.

• Achivements added! - 17 December 2021

  Like many, we love the rewarding feeling of unlocking achievements. We are happy to announce that Summer Numbers now has Steam Achievements and Stats! As you might know, Summer Numbers is developed as a self-standing operating system and can run on bare metal, especially retro PCs. The version you get here is bundled with a x86 emulator (currently DOSBox-X) so that you can easily play it by launching it from Steam. For this reason, integrating with the Steam API is not as straightforward as it would normally be, since the game is technically not running on Windows. What we do instead, is create an ad-hoc network through a (virtual) serial port and send achivements and stats over this link. The emulator exposes this port through TCP/IP and a small bridge we created finally reads this information and calls the appropriate API methods to actually store stats and unlock achievements. • Summer Numbers releasing on December 23rd - 13 December 2021

  We are excited to announce the upcoming release of Summer Numbers on Steam! At launch, the game will have 10 levels of increasing difficulty, each with a unique hand-drawn illustration which will be revelead after winning the match. The game is highly replayable, since every time you get a different, randomly generated board so no match is like the previous one. The development phase is almost complete and we are mostly working on tuning the AI difficult levels and preparing the base for features to comes.
