• The Future of BOK - 5 November 2023

  There hasn't been a BOK Update for a while, and i'm not too sure if anyone's super upset about that. I think it's fair to say that BOK is not a very good game, and as my game development skills grew (and so did my laziness), I came to realize that more and more. So here's the deal. I've started to make the game completely from scratch, because to be honest the state that it's in probably isn't recoverable. I didn't even know how to code when I started work on it, and I learned as I went on, which is probably one of the reasons why it's so terrible. My goal is to make it an actually fun game, with fun and interesting mechanics, and slightly less miserable to try to beat. The challenge will most likely be removed, however if you like to suffer there will probably be some extra optional stuff that make the game harder. • Big BOK Update! - 10 February 2023

  The new update is finally here! This major update includes quite a few changes, however I didn't quite fit everything I wanted into the update, so expect more updates in the future. Here's a list of all of the changes, or at least the ones I remember: 2 New Gamemodes: -Limited Lives: Exactly like it sounds. Choose between easy, normal, or hard mode and select the amount of lives you want to beat the game. (I would not recommend 1 life mode) -Speedrun mode: Race against your best time for specific levels, or see how fast you can beat the entire game. • Big News! - 15 January 2023

  As the very active and thriving BOK community already knows, there has been a lack of activity on the developer side of things regarding the game. I had an update planned with new achievements, game-modes, and more, however things didn't really go the way I planned. My laptop with all of the game files broke and wouldn't boot into windows! The only backup I had was of a way older version, and I lost inspiration after losing hours of progress on development (lesson learned). However, I recently managed to fix my laptop and get the files back, meaning I can work on the game again! I'm sure the 4 people that have ever played the game are very happy right now. I was planning on just releasing the content I had already made, but I had worked on some new artwork during the time I couldn't access the files, and I think I will spend a little time polishing the game before I release the next upd…
