• Next update is wip! - 18 November 2022

  Im working a lot on this fixes, to bring a good base to next updates, Im working alone on this project, with a friend on music, I will add Credits screen too, and some better options, but Im working on some inner optimizations on code, and having a better control of the fight system too. The game is not my main job, Im a unity freelancer, so that's why take some time to bring fixes and updates, but Im doing it with all my heart hehehe.   Here it is, a game that I wanted to launch since 2012, well, still on early access but man Im happy... hope you guys like it, im trying to bring a good game and cool to play, on this first version my main focus is bring a good gameplay even with only versus mode, the next update will bring some fixes and some powers, every character will change the x.x.1, x.x.2 the version will change, so, here's the 0.1 version next I will bring Daiko as full character with his powers to the 0.1.1 version and so on...

  Those characters I evolved from older ideas, well, as I already said on previous posts, my idea as a gamedev was always do a beat'em up, and I've tried some times by doing Unity Ingame animation, like, divide a character in parts to do rotation inside unity and well... the results wasnt good at all, looks a lot like scribblenauts, not that the animation on scribblenauts wasnt work, but for a beat'em up dont work as I like, so I will post here some evolution of my ingame art. This character was kinda "kobold" from old medieval ideas, well everyone that I evolved comes from a medieval idea, was kinda Guardian heroes style, but the ghost hunting idea was so cool that I bring the game to somenthing new and changed everyone, lets continue: those was kobolds too, I make a spiritual animal on ghost puncher.   Hi guys, I'm bringing some news here, about opening a discord server. Well, I've been thinking a lot about it, and I'm opening it before the game launch because I want to have some inputs when I let the Demo playable. https://discord.gg/GwjDyMVv That's the discord server, I don't have any admin or somenthing, but I'm trying to learn about it, btw that's it, that's another channel to talk to me. Aw, I want to talk here about fusions. Some characters are going to fuse like in lf2, but this is going to change a little bit the mechanic of it. When you have both the characters and already opened the fusion on story mode, if both players with pre-fusion characters hold the punch button, or kick (I'm going to test it first) and run against each other, one of 2 players is going to get the fusion result, a better character, a cooler mechanic for story mode, vs mode and any mode, but one of the p…

• Launch data and my first devlog here! - 23 July 2022

  Hi, I'm Gege, the gamedeveloper of this huge project called Ghost Puncher. This is the game of my dreams. I have worked on it by myself by years. My favorite game of all times is Guardian Heroes, that I've played with a great friend called Caio by all my teen era (hehehe) and another big inspiration is Little Fighers 2 (the first multiplayer on the same keyboard that I've played) by its creativity and fun gameplay. Ghost puncher is basically why I've started learning game development in 2012. I remember doing games in which I could learn some stuff about beat'em up, like a sidescroller to learn about colision and damage, and a small concept that looks a lot like Zelda 2 to make some small battle system, and none of them was a good game, but they were a path to bring me here ːsteamhappyː.
