  It is time for another game update! Version 1.1.1 brings a few QoL improvements: the ability to rebind keys has been added, you are now able to customize your driving controls to your liking a new animated exit sequence has been added right before exiting a "pitstop", such as after choosing an upgrade or a map node a rarely occurring run-ending bug has been squashed, there should no longer be any risk of getting teleported back to the start of a piece of road over and over again some texts in the garage have been altered for much improved readability the sound of the "handbrake hop" active skill no longer plays multple times when it shouldn't, it also no longer continues playing after releasing of the skill button

  Update 1.1.0 is here, get ready for an enhanced gaming experience! We've been hard at work addressing some of the most requested fixes and improvements. Here are the main issues that have been resolved and improved: Sleek HUD Bars, now smoother and more visually polished. More consistent camera movement, tailored to your screen resolution, in the hub area. Minor typos removed in the upgrades menu. Upgrades text now stands out better, with improved color grading.   Hey everyone! First of all, thank you so much to everyone that has played Octane Remix, as well as sharing your feedback and bug issues with us! We at Team Velocita are so thankful to each and everyone of you. Since launch we have been working hard on ironing out some bugs and issues that have been popping up. Here are the issues that will be resolved with this patch: Ghost Frames have been shrunk and made less distracting. Fixed some bugs that cause soft locks in the racing mode. Steam Deck fatal error which lead to players not being able to launch the game is fixed. There are still some issues with the game that we have not had the time to flatten just yet, here are a few known ones: Level editor & Roadmap delayed by another week due to fatal bug. • Steam Next Fest and the updated Octane Remix is LIVE! - 21 June 2023

  Steam Next Fest, running June 19th trough June 26th, is officially LIVE! As part of this exciting event, our devs have worked hard on creating the best experience possible for our players. As a result, the driving mechanics have undergone a massive transformation, which now makes the driving, and especially turning, a lot smoother. But that's not all! The track's magnetization has been turbocharged, granting you the power to effortlessly conquer the road with the grace of a champion! • Devblog: A pivot - 20 January 2023

  Good day everyone, we hope this last week has treated you well! While we don’t usually release Dev blogs, due to some recent major changes to Octane Remix we feel that it would be warranted. Initially, like most teams do when working on games they have passion for, we had a grand vision for Octane Remix. However with time we have come to realize that our scope compared to our time and resources was far too large, forcing us to rescope. As a result, we’ve re-evaluated what was the core to our game and what was more along the lines of a wishlist. We have elected to remove the story mode from the game, in favor of a randomly generated career-type of mode. This still allows us to provide you with a highly engaging Roguelite-Racing experience, as well as the high modability which we aimed for, while at the same time not having to spend our limited resources making a story that leaves the pla…
