- An Update and What's Next - 21 June 2024
News With the recent release of Lastone: Behind the Choice on another platform that we can't mention here, we're updating Lastone for all of you with another quality-of-life update! We know that the game is not easy, and was not made to be easy, but we want more players to be able to read the heartfelt story the writers wrote. So now we're adding a skip system to the gameplay if you're stuck in a game in between the story. However, to not downplay the puzzle designer's work as well, we made it so the skip button only appears after you lose or give up three times in a row to the same person, so please do your best as well on those games! We're also planning for a Linux and macOS port next. If you'd like to be part of the port-tester, join us on our Discord! Originally, this game was intended for players who have a lot of time to learn the game, especially the patterns when you battle with each character, so players will come back from their losses stronger each time. But, after quite a lot of players I've seen on YouTube play this in their spare time or after a long day of work (I assume), I figured I might need to tweak the game a bit. So, I made a casual mode that you can choose before you start the story of any character! Now you can take a rest, in real life, between battles, so you can feel refreshed before your inevitable face-off against Lucifer. This is based on your feedback and gameplay, where you're just stumped and feel like hitting a wall. Good day, everyone! What a nice day to have a chit-chat, right? I'm very excited to say that the game is now fully released! And, honestly, I was very nervous. This is my first time releasing a game on Steam (Cursed Mansion was released as early access, but I was still nervous, too, back then), and I want to make sure nothing goes wrong. Fortunately, it went quite well. We have also prepared more updates for the future. On the 24th of January, the demo version and Supporter Pack DLC will be released!
