Hi, Here comes an important update that gives you more control of how and when the puzzle verification sequence is being triggered. Up until now, each puzzle verification has been initiated by a left or right click basically anywhere on the screen (after all signals have been actively set). The exception to this is when a user-set signal has been clicked. That clicked signal has then been changed or reset, basically making it possible to review and change signals for as long as needed before deliberately clicking "anywhere" to confirm. The upside with such a solution is that it is very flexible, and it requires a minimal amount of time and effort to move the cursor over to some kind of dedicated submit button. - The Instant Confirmation Update - 26 November 2024
Some players love animations, while others would like a more snappy experience, and being able to advance and proceed as quickly as possible. In addition to a few graphical tweaks here and there, the puzzle verification animation (i.e. the stamping of gates being correct or wrong) can now be skipped by a simple mouse click while the animation is doing its thing. In detail, the following changes have been made in this update: If the left or right mouse button is clicked (anywhere on the screen) after a puzzle verification process is initiated, the remaining gates will be stamped correct or wrong at a very high, constant speed. Mirrors of Epiphany, the new puzzle game from creator of logic gate puzzler Pure Logic has been part of Steam Next Fest for a few days now. Based on feedback in the discussion forums, an important UI/QoL update has recently been released. If you would like to play around with some light sources and mirrors for a few minutes, please give the demo a spin. - The Big Flexibility Update - 29 June 2023
As Steam Summer Sale kicked off, an important update to Pure Logic was released. The undo function is now unlimited, instead of the last-step-only undo that has been available so far. In addition, any set signal can be changed directly to the other colour/state, or reset back to the original unset state. Judging by feedback in reviews and the discussion forums, I think these changes will be appreciated by quite a few. And hopefully it opens up for a wider range of solving strategies. - Steam Deck Compatibility - 15 June 2023
Valve has recently performed a set of Steam Deck compatibility tests on Pure Logic. Their conclusion is "Playable". I've just published these results, so that the following information is available on the Steam Deck store page: I already knew that people have been playing it on Steam Deck successfully, but I'm still very happy to get this report from Valve. Pure Logic was not designed and programmed with Steam Deck in mind, so this is a very nice bonus :) I'll get my hands on a Steam Deck as soon as possible, so that I can do some proper testing while fixing the yellow stuff that prevents it from receiving a perfect "Verified" rating. And while I'm at it, I can mention that there are some updates in the pipeline with regards to undoing more than the last set signal, and also changing the state/colour of a signal that has already been set. - Release of v1.0.1 - 7 May 2023
Patch notes: The speed of the puzzle verification animations (i.e. the green/red stamping of the gates) are increased. Progress is now saved more frequently (i.e. each time a puzzle has been completed). This will fix an issue reported by a player; the progress was lost if force quitting the game on Steam Deck without first returning to the main menu. The fix will also make the game more bulletproof when played on a PC.

- Achievements are ready! - 18 December 2022
Hi everyone! I've just finalised all the achievements for Pure Logic. There are 13 of them in total. For each of the 6 gate types you will first reach the "Knower of..." level, and then later the "Master of..." level. If you go on to complete all the zones and puzzles, and receive the final "Master of the Gates" achievement, I can guarantee you'll know the 6 common two-input logic gates inside out :) And now; with both the sub-1920x1080 resolution support and the achievements work completed, I can focus all the attention on creating the last remaining puzzle zones. Unfortunately, I had to push back the release date a little bit more. I don't want to rush things in the end, and risk sacrificing the quality of the larger and more complex puzzles in the final parts of the game. With that said, at this point I feel very confident that the game will be ready for release sometime in Q1 2023.…
- Pure Logic available for a wider audience - 5 December 2022
Hello everyone! I've just released a very important demo update, at least for some people. Up until now, Pure Logic has required a display resolution of at least 1920 x 1080 to run. I've spent some time cleaning up and restructuring large portions of the code, and the demo (and of course the upcoming full game release) should now run on any display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 or higher. So if you're one of those that have been waiting for this update, please give the demo a try :) It's late Monday evening here in Norway. I'll post a new announcement in a couple of days, with some more information on the final stages of the development process, and the upcoming full game release.
- Major Demo Update - 15 July 2022
I'm very happy to announce that a major demo update has just been released! The demo now contains more than 30 puzzles. There are several important UI improvements, plus many small tweaks and fixes here and there. Feedback and comments are highly appreciated :) Enjoy solving!
- Demo update information - 13 June 2022
Hi all, Earlier this evening (Norway time) I released an updated version of the demo, with a few small changes: Some UI and graphics tweaks and fixes. Audio and video settings are now saved. The first zone of proper puzzles is still not unlocked. When people start jumping into solving puzzles, the game progress needs to be saved. I'm currently working hard to finish a robust save game system; one which can handle future updates, and also smoothly transfer progress from the demo to the full game. There are still some code adjustments and QA work to be done before I feel confident to release that part. I'm hoping to get it done in a couple of days, and being able to push the next important release on June 15. - Steam Next Fest June 2022 - 3 June 2022
Pure Logic will participate in the upcoming Steam Next Fest! The demo will be released on June 9, while the Next Fest itself kicks off four days later. I'm really looking forward to making this demo publicly available, and hopefully receiving a lot of valuable feedback as I enter the final phase of finishing the full game, currently planned for release July 11.
