KEY FEATURES Players are employees of a mysterious organization tasked with running experiments in a top secret, underwater Laboratory. Each crew member is given a role that is responsible for keeping one of the Lab’s systems in check, and is also dependent on other roles for completing experiments sent by The Organization. Janitors keep it clean, Doctors heal and vaccinate the crew, Engineers fix broken systems, Security guards keep an eye out for suspicious behavior, HR monitors performance. Unbeknownst to the crew, Infiltrators walk among them , tasked with thwarting all Experiments, creating Emergencies and ultimately, shutting down the Laboratory. THE GOAL The goal for the Crewmembers is to keep the Lab running, according to their role, despite Infiltrators attempts to wreak havoc. The goal for the Infiltrators is to shut the Lab down by any means necessary. And not get caught! ITEMS Items are an essential part of gameplay in Underlab. Each item can be used in multiple ways, blurring the line between traitorous action and innocent tomfoolery. Some items are easily accessible by anyone in the Lab, but others need to be crafted by using resources or items only available from other roles. This means that you have to beg, plead, barter, or even steal the items and resources needed to craft the more effective items in your Crafting Station.
