- DeepL Localization Added for NL, ES and DE - 19 December 2024
It has been some time since our last update. Almost a whole year, but we have come back to add some localization to Yoko Redux. You will now be able to view the dialog subtitles, cutscenes and menus in three new languages. We've included localization by DeepL machine learning in Dutch, Spanish and German. While we know that the AI may not be able to replicate a real translator, it fit the game too perfectly to go any other direction. We hope many more people can enjoy Yoko Redux in their native language now.

Just in time for Christmas and the Steam Winter sale comes the Narspel Jacks update for Yoko Redux! Enjoy a fun and relaxing game of cards with the various inhabitants of Novo Redentor while you discover the world and the answer to the question, Who is Yoko? You will be able to collect all the cards available, mix and match them and create your own decks to challenge anyone you come across. Control different characters and hardware from the game with the goal of wiping out all of your opponent's characters to win. Focus on the Mind, a resource mainly used to buff characters; the Body which is focused on damaging characters; the Soul which is focused on control or any combination thereof. Earn more cards by defeating the people you come across in game and build your ultimate deck. We even have plans for physical (real world) card packs to play Narspel Jacks with your friends.

Successful Deckers can win a key to Yoko Redux, Roguecraft Squadron and a special discord title to let everyone know, you're the one to look out for! This event will continue until the launch of our first major update to the game on Oct. 28, which will introduce Level 4 (of 7 total)! We've hit that magic number of reviews and would like to send out a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has tried out the Demo, purchased the game and/or left a review. We really appreciate all of your support and are encouraged to keep working on this great adventure game for our great fans. If you've finished the first three levels, don't forget to check the roadmap in the description on the main store page. The story continues with Level 4 and it is scheduled to be launched in October. As always, all of the remaining 4 levels (up to level 7) will be included in the base game at no extra cost as they are updated, so be ready to continue the adventure with Jeanne on her mission and all of our main characters as they discover "Who is Yoko?" We're back for another Yoko Redux: Demo playthrough for Steam Next Fest. Last time we had the developer play through the game and give his insights into the design. This time, our friend Avolition has volunteered to play the demo on stream. He hasn't played the game since an early build and it will be fun to hear comments about changes and the perspective of someone who did not make the game.
