Thank you for your vigilance and feedback that you shared on the Steam forums, you have helped identify dozens of small bugs that we have been able to rectify. New Features: The way outfits unlock has changed, now to unlock an outfit for a character, you need to win a game in that area with that character. The logic for earning green completionist skulls has been corrected. However this means that any earned skulls have been reset. Be Advised: This version (1.0.3) changes game logic, if you attempt to 'continue' a run that started in an older version (such as 1.0.2) it may 'load forever' and you will have to close the EdgeLords application. - Difficulty Patch 1.0.2b is now Live! - 4 May 2023
The user-requested difficulty patch is now live. This reduces the overall difficulty from Hardcore (Hard) to Competetive (Medium). We are continuing to fine-tune the difficulty, in the next few weeks we are planning on developing a difficulty setting to toggle from Casual (Easy), Competetive (Medium) and Hardcore (Hard) and linking it to a new 'essence system'. In the new 'essence system', players earn essence for completing games, the higher the difficulty, the more essence earned. Essence can then be redeemed on Motifs, CGs and Card Art (this will replace the current unlock system) so you can choose exactly what you'd like to unlock at any time. - Softlock discovered in v1.0 - BDSM Ashka Boss - 2 May 2023
Issue Regretfully, a softlock has been discovered in v1.0 where the BSDM Ashka Boss (from the Dungeon) attempts to summon 'Harpy'. This results in a softlock. This Boss is currently unwinable and if you come across her I'm afraid that you will need to force quit the application. Our Action We will shortly be releasing a patch to resolve this issue. Player Action In the meantime, we're afraid that if you come across the BDSM Ashka Boss during your campaign, you will have to force quit the application and start a new game, possibly with a different character. We apologise for this oversight. Issue We have also been made aware of a display bug, if you lose a game while in full screen, sometimes the loading screen never goes away. In which case, you will need to close the game manually, you can also avoid this by suspending your game before you are defeated in a match or simply playing in w…
