  • v1.0.1 patch - 22 February 2026

After some great feedback from the full release of No Way Up, I've made a few small improvements to the feel of the game.Fixes:Sluggish movement on low-end devicesUnfair Cinder hitboxAwkward parsing of legacy version when updating from Early Access buildsSoft-lock after updatingThis patch mainly addresses issues some players were having with level 6, which was sometimes difficult to time correctly due to reduced movement speed when playing at low FPS. Combined with a very slight Cinder hitbox reduction, level 6 should now be far more enjoyable - but still tense. Apologies to those who struggled with it!

  • So long Early Access! - 7 February 2026

You're all amazing, and it wouldn't have happened without your kind words.Time to dive back into the Void... Best of luck.

Background music - As requested, more dark, sinister ambience... Lighting - The 'black wall' issue should be resolved. Dialogue - The story has been almost entirely rewritten to be less wacky. Minor update - v1.0.2: Dialogue Skip - Story dialogue is now always…
