Hey everybody! We're back with a quick update for Cattails: Wildwood Story. v1.21 brings with it several quality-of-life changes and bugfixes, as well as a handful of balance changes. Read the full patch notes below, or dive right in by launching the game from your Steam library. Patchnotes: v1.21 Prey, Herbs, and Treasure stockpiles can now be toggled on/off. Select the stockpile name to toggle (turn off to prevent automatic daily resource depletion and perk activation.) Once a Buddy reaches the max Buddy Level (10), their daily relational decay is now permanently disabled. Halloween is almost here. It's a week and four days from now if you believe it. Where did the time go? It seems the older you get, the faster the year goes by. Kinda depressing. For some of us, Halloween is a holiday, and still, we have yet to purchase a costume, candy for the neighborhood munchkins, or set out decorations. Honestly, we're feeling a bit ba-humbung about it this year. Maybe it's all the rain we have been getting, plus it's a bit colder than usual this time of year. Maybe our mood will change once the night of ghosts, goblins, and all things that go bump in the night rolls around. Until our disposition changes, there are things that will help pass the time. Get together with friends, celebrate, take in a movie, some DIY, rest up, and play games. Read more

Wow! Launch day is coming to a close! Coffees were made (and consumed, and made again, and consumed again;) emails were answered; support threads were replied to; videos and articles and direct messages and more went flying absolutely everywhere as you all were invited into the Wildwood for the very first time! The outpouring of support for our silly cat game has been incredible, we are really feeling the love! Cattails Wildwood Story is one of my favorite games ever. I backed the project as soon as it went up on Kickstarter and have been enjoying Falcon Development's sequel since its alpha stage. The indie developer has now fully released Wildwood Story on Steam, allowing new fans to explore the series' wholesome gameplay. We’ve got a big update for you all today, so let’s dive right in and start unpacking all the juicy new details… September marks the end of the third quarter, which means our Steam release (Q4 2023) is just around the corner! And great news: Cattails: Wildwood Story is now feature-complete! What does that mean? That means that every feature promised for launch is now implemented into the game, including all stretch goals! Over the past thirteen months we released regular updates to keep you all informed as we continued development of the project. This morning we put out a game update that is available through Steam to our beta-tier (and higher) backers so they can try out everything prior to our Steam release. Hello everyone, and happy August! We have another development update for you all with some exciting new features. Read on for all the details! We are well into Q3 2023; that means Q4 (Oct-Dec) is just around the corner, which is when we plan to launch Cattails: Wildwood Story on Steam! At this time we are well on-track for a release later this year. Stay tuned for a more specific launch date, but the announcement shouldn’t be too far away. Hey everybody! I know we’re a couple days early but the July update is ready so here we are with the monthly development report! We were thrilled to take part in Steam Next Fest during the month of June, a celebration of upcoming games with free demos. The Cattails: Wildwood Story demo launched June 1 in preparation for the event and is still live for anyone who wants to try it out. We’ll keep the demo up at least until the end of July. We loved our time showcasing Cattails: Wildwood Story to players on Steam! We got so much great feedback and saw some excellent new traffic to the game’s Steam page.
