- Minor UI adjustments and small improvements - 9 June 2025
Hello dear Wild Radio Fluxers, we just uploaded another small update after yesterday's update to fix some UI adjustments and small improvements. You know Wild Radio Flux works on Keyboard and controllers only, but some players have reported that the mouse sometimes was still affecting the UI, especially menus. That is now fixed. In addition, the character stage faced some minor bugs in the selection visualization. That has now been solved too. We are also wondering to announce that we are creating a Steam page for Wild Radio Flux soundtracks with a remastered version of all the game soundtracks but this is just a rumor... soon! ... stay tuned! :) ) Thank you so much again for playing WRF, we are so glad to see that some of you spent up to 50 hours on it... - Internationalization update! - 8 June 2025
Dear Wild Radio Fluxers,in the past few days, we were working on another update for Wild Radio Flux game. We are improving the internationalization support, in particular for the simplified Chinese language.We finally fixed a very tedious bug that didn't allow the game to properly show Chinese language in the right way for users.We really apologize to all Chinese friends who were interested in playing Wild Radio Flux.In addition, a couple of other variable bugs related to the translation system are now fixed, and translation should work properly.Further, we decided to make the game a bit easier to play due to some requests. Dear Wild Radio Fluxers, in the past few days, we were working on another update for Wild Radio Flux game. We are improving the internationalization support, in particular for the simplified Chinese language. - A big UPDATE to Wild Radio Flux - 4 June 2025
Dear Wild Radio Fluxers, we are so happy to see how many hours you spent on Wild Radio Flux. This is what make us feel happy about our work. But we know Wild Radio Flux still need some improvements, and this time we made a big update for this game, because we really want to make it bigger and better. - On Air Dash and Wider Look Down! - 30 May 2025
Dear Wild Radio Fluxers, we are so happy to introduce you to two new abilities for our heroes: air dash and camera move when look down . Many of you suggested these new abilities, and we decided to implement them in Wild Radio Flux. But that's not all! Welcome everyone :) Just some simple tricks about how to play Wild Radio Flux CONTROLLER - The game can be played via keyboard or controller and it's been properly tested by Steam testers as always. LOAD/SAVE - You have 6 slots to save or load the game anytime. Just press ESC button (or X on XBox controller) to open the menu and pause the game. HELPBOOK - You also have options and a help book to learn how to play and what to do. INTRO - The introduction/story can be skipped with ESC button. SPEED/ACTION - Wild Radio Flux is based on RPG mechanics, so you have to play more to grow your character and improve your abilities. MOVING - Just use keyboard or analog or digital controller. We are so glad to tell you that Wild Radio Flux has been uploaded on Steam (and we are now waiting their test ːsteamthumbsupː ) After the Stem fest in October, many enthusiast players told us some major aspect that could significantly improve the game. And of course, working hard... we did it. - New weapons, new VFX, new graphical assets...! - 4 October 2024
What the Hell, yeah... One of the major sides in developing Wild Radio Flux has been making the code as flexible as possible. F... saying, that's been very hard, but wow guys! This means having a game based on seasons, moddable, and expandable with new characters and soundtracks. But this aspect of the source code required to develop every part of the game simultaneously (I hope it's worth it!!!). Now we can finally dedicate more attention to one of our favorite sides of this game: appearance. And so we could finally change the character's weapons (yeah I know... the previous idea was nice, but we prefer to have something less funny and more cool). - New character talking syste - 15 September 2024
Dear Players, we are delighted to introduce a nice system that allows Wild Radio Flux game to narrate its story even while you're playing. For each level in fact, you can meet other characters you can listen to, in addition to the Guru that only appears 3 times in the first stage. We wanted to implement this system to improve the general mood while you're playing. We think that the game appears a bit more captivating, just "breaking" the fight with some additional in-story characters. - October Steam Fest 2024! - 27 August 2024
Just a quick announcement! We are so glad Wild Radio Flux will be at the next Steam Fest in October 2024. We know we planned to release this game a few months ago but we decided to implement new features and improve the general gameplay. As you probably know already, as a company, we are working about several projects so. However we are very happy to announce that at the next Steam Fest in Ocotber we will give you the new updated WRF demo version... still under dev! - Running to the release! - 31 December 2023
After one year of madness we can finally release WildRadioFlux! At least if we can pass the Steam test :) I know we planned to release WRF in 2023 but as a small company we've seen requests even for other projects we are working on, especially our K-Engine game engine and so we had to dedicate resources at 360. Thank you so much everyone for your interest about our game, we are so happy and enthusiast about it! And we are still working in improving the last things for WRF then we hope to pass the Steam test and get WRF ready for all of you!. - Wild Radio Flux introducing the melee combat! - 24 August 2023
Just like the traditional Metroidvania game, we've seen that it was important for our characters to fight in a different way based on their distance from the enemy. So now our characters switch from melee combat to their specific weapons automatically. Despite Wild Radio Flux has even another mood compared to the classic Metroidvania, this new feature improves the gameplay and also it emphasizes the game style: a Back to the 80's!
- Diagonal Shooting based on Character Class - 18 May 2023
Hello again everyone, K Storm Studio here and as you can see we are posting more frequently now because as you can imagine we are running to the game release date. We have implemented the diagonal shooting for each character and based on character Class (you know? Increasing your experience you can increase class, weapons and abilities of the character you choose to play with) Based on our experience in developing and testing Wild Radio Flux we realized that the gameplay needed to get diagonal fire. Now, this is not a features that you have to use intentionally every times you move but something that happens and it's gonna help you in your mission. - New HUD, collections, features and improvements! - 17 May 2023
Hello everyone, K Storm Studio here, hope you're well and enjoy games! :) After quite hard work we are so happy to announce that several improvements have been implemented in Wild Radio Flux. All improvements are coming from the game coding to the HUD where we set new features like: element name, score, better GEEK/ALBUM navigation, improved achievements book, enemy health and name once hit. In particular this last feature sets the gameplay in Wild Radio Flux more intuitive, get you know exactly how you have to fight to defeat the current enemy which is very important in a game like this one where your energy state changes based on the experience and the class you have achieved (RPG system) Hope you like it! :) Wishlist Wild Radio Flux from the Steam storepage now :)
