• Knightfall: a daring journey is FREE! 🌹 - 18 June 2024

  Hello everyone, after a few months of discussions with the community and with the team, we have decided to make Knightfall: A Daring Journey free starting today! The game currently doesn’t have enough active players to populate servers to start games and we don’t want to charge people for a game they can’t play. By making the game free we will hopefully get more full games going! We want to thank all of you who have supported the game so far and we hope you can gather some of your friends up to play some rounds once it goes free next week. If you recently got the game you may still be able to refund it through Steam. If you have any questions or concerns about the game going free please reach out to us directly at [email protected]

• A Daring Journey comes to an end! - 14 June 2022

  Hello everyone! First of we want to thank you all for the support, we never thought a romantic battle royale racing game with knights would hit a nerve with so many people! Even if updates are coming to an end we're so happy to see all of you drifting away, offering roses to your buddies and suspending your disbelief for Knights with guns As you may have noticed we haven’t been updating Knightfall for the past month. When we launched this project we didn’t expect it to be updated past the first week, so we’re happy we could update it more than promised! That said we don’t have any plans for further updates. If you’re new here, every year we (Landfall) do an April Fool’s game or update, usually these are short-term projects created specifically for April 1st and are separate from our main games.   Hello everyone! Time for update 3 (yes, the actual update 3 this time) New weapons and enchantments: Enchantments: Sonar: Reveals enemies in an area around the bullet/bomb impact. Restoration: Gives you healing bombs or bullets. Vampirism: Can now also appear as a bomb enchantment and gives the same stats as the weapon enchantment. Two spellbooks: Ice bolt: Launches an ice projectile that slows Enemies that are hit. Ignite: Fires a volley of projectiles that light enemies on fire when hit. New town!   Hello everyone! Thank you all for playing, seeing the response to the game has been incredible and we hope to spend the weekend fixing some of the issues you've reported to us. Patch notes: Removed West Fort and East Fort to allow for bigger battles at the final castle. Optimized audio implementation performance.   Welcome to Knightfall: A Daring Journey! Every year we, Landfall, make a game or other event for April Fools day, Knightfall: A Daring Journey is this year's contribution! We want to set your expectations about the game’s future from the get-go so please read the following: Knightfall: A Daring Journey is not a games as a service game, which means that it most likely will not have continuous content updates, cosmetics or battle passes etc. The game was made in five weeks by a small team and is currently not our main project. We will of course be doing bug fixing and server maintenance in order for the game to run the best way it can and maybe an update or two if the team is excited about the project but we cannot promise any updates. With that said, let's get drifting!
