- đ New Patch - Meta-progression Improvement - 24 September 2026
Important: Crossplay compatibility is temporarily disabled on this version. Use the "Crossplay" Beta branch to stay on the old version and to enable crossplay. Hey everyone, For the past couple of weeks, we've been taking in your feedback and running our own internal testing to help tweak the meta-progression and make adjustments that make the game feel less grindy and allow you to unlock more things at a more satisfying rate. We're eager to hear your thoughts about this update (ideally after you've played it for a bit!) and we're thankful for everyone that takes the time to report issues and their thoughts on the gameplay. You folks rock. Here are the changelogs for today: Village Meta-Progression Balancing Adjusted the prices and currency costs of many items in Village shops. If you had already bought an item that now costs less, you will receive a currency refund the next time you reâŚ
- What We're Working On - 18 September 2026
What's up people, Besides the big bug fix patch from last week, we're hard at work on balancing and content updates we're planning on releasing relatively soon (and all the bug fixes.. so many bug fixes). The last few weeks, we've been rebalancing the metaprogression entirely. We've heard the feedback from the game's launch that unlocking stuff was kind of a grind and too slow, so we've made sure players get unlocks much more frequently than before. We're currently testing that change with new players and after some small tweaks, we're hopefully shipping that update out by the end of the month. Our level designer, Sam, has been working on a slew of new battlefields and theyâre looking amazing. Here are some teasers. Another cool feature coming very very soon is mid-campaign saving. For now, itâs going to be solo only, but youâll be able to save your campaign, go do your groceries, dealâŚ

Weâve been a bit quiet, but the whole team has been laser-focused on fixing as many bugs and issues as possible, many of which were reported by you. Thanks, and keep them coming! Todayâs patch contains a ton of bug fixes we wanted to get into your hands ASAP while we continue work on the Build Crafting/Emblems/Metaprogression rework we talked about in the previous announcement, as well as the upcoming Beta Branch. Without further ado, hereâs the entire changelog: Multiplayer Improved Epic Online Services (EOS) connection handling, including fixes for stale connections. Added detection and clearer player-facing error messages for several common multiplayer issues. Fixed multiple multiplayer healing issues. Fixed HeâŚ

Hey everyone, Itâs been a month already! And it's been AMAZING. First off, thank you so much for playing the game, giving reviews and feedback, this is how we will improve the game. We did have way more fires to extinguish than what we had anticipated but overall we are really stoked that so many of you have been playing and giving feedback. That's why we went into Early Access after all.We now want to give you better visibility into what changes and additions weâre planning.Since launch, weâve addressed major issues: networking, crashes, performance, etc. Weâll keep working on optimization and bug fixing, but weâre getting ready to move into the second phase now: reworking some systems to address major points youâve brought up as feedback. Before the beginning of this second phase, the next patch will be a big push for stability.Once thatâs rounded off, weâll be able to start focusingâŚ

It also features a new multiplayer revive system, and a new companion. Thereâs still more work ahead, but weâre happy to get these improvements into your hands. Network Optimization Networking should now be drastically improved. Multiplayer should feel much smoother overall, and desync should be far less common. On particularly poor connections, you may still experience some stuttering, but it should be shorter and much less frequent than before (and still playable). - Teaser for Next Week - New Companion, Revive with HP & More! - 7 August 2026
Hey folks, We've had our heads down this past week, focused on polishing the upcoming update. It's been quiet on the announcement front, but we're always chatty on Discord, you should join us! Here's a little sneak peek at what we're working on and what's coming in the next update. The big one: we're adding a new companion. Aodh, the Vigil, an old scholar hauling a book heavier than the armor of most men. Once he's convinced to march with you, he keeps watch when a fight breaks out. The first blows never quite land the way the enemy intends! We also heard you loud & clear about reviving fallen allies in co-op. The coin cost to revive your friends is getting replaced with HP instead. Eager to see how that plays out. General improvements, fixes and balancing tweaks are coming up as well, thanks to your feedback. Big thank you to everyone taking the time to share their thoughts. That's whaâŚ

We have a bunch more tweaks coming up. Here's a small preview of what we're working on right now: Reviving fallen comrades: We hear you reviving fallen comrades with Coins is not (always) fun. We are exploring different ideas and will likely test one soon in a Beta branch to gather your feedback. Mid-run saves: Mid-run saving is still in development. The work is progressing well. Performance optimization: We will continue releasing improvements as they are ready. Since both are major ongoing efforâŚ
