We're part of the Myths and Legends sale, and we thought we'd dig back into our own journey of taking well known characters (like the Greek Gods) and putting a new spin on them. In this article by Screenrant, David Gaider our lead writer and co-founder went into some more detail. You're taking existing characters that everyone's familiar with, but we're supporting them. We're thinking, "Okay, what if they had continued to live? How would they have changed?" They have all these stories, so it was great for me to pick and choose which ones to use. Last year's Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical is getting story-focused DLC in the form of Stray Gods: Orpheus, which will star the titular mythical bard rather than base game protagonist Grace. What a year! We don’t know about you, but Summerfall is very keen to be taking some time over the holidays to relax and regroup after a huge year for us... but one last thing before we go! Last week was Melbourne International Games Week and Summerfall had a HUGE week - including winning three awards at the Australian Game Developer Awards. - Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical - Patch #1.2 - 8 September 2023
Hey folks, We recently released a patch with a number of fixes but unfortunately upon release some players encountered unexplained crashes. Because of this, we made the decision to roll it back. We're happy to say we're releasing a new patch today! This patch includes the following fixes: Fixed voiceover equalisation, which brings the volume of each character’s VO into alignment. Fixed a number of issues that were causing crashes. Fixed various issues where binding actions to specific keys didn't work as intended. Fixed some localisation issues. Removed brackets from some speaker labels to make them more readable. (The last encore for our beloved ‘Ibothi’ and ‘Ialli’) Fixed an issue where you could get similar conversations with Pan one after the other during the Medusa storyline. Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your enthusiasm for Stray Gods as we continue to improve the game. Earlier today, we soft launched a Patch #1.1 on Steam, which aimed to address the audio imbalance, localisation fixes, some keybinding issues, and more. However, we are receiving reports that the patch is causing some game crashes. We have decided the best course of action is to roll back this patch and re-release it after we’ve remedied the problem. We are very thankful of the patience of our community!
