During ongoing testing of the Early Access development of Real Feel it became clear that we severely overestimated the performance specs of the average gamers current machine. It was always our goal to achieve the highest fidelity and quality as far as visuals and HDR rendering techniques for our simulation. Based on reviews and response from the public it's become clear that we overshot the mark a bit as to what we thought would be reasonable from a performance perspective. We realize that most users do not have a extreme high level GPU that is required to accomplish the current real time rendering demands for a smooth gaming experience. In celebration of our new Steam listing, we are starting to send out early pre-release Beta copies of Curse of Black Bone to curators and influencers. This early version of the game does not contain the game ending that will be included in the final retail version of the game that goes on sale September 1, 2022. What is included in the Beta pre-release is 80% of the High Definition CG animations, 3D explorable gameplay and interactive characters. While we are still making improvements and tweaks to all parts of the game before it's Early Access release, there is still hours of content and movies that can already be unlocked for these early players. Early Access Camera Settings Patch v1.021 Several reviewers posted on rotational controls during UI navigation on First Person Cam. We are addressing this by locking rotation of First Person which can be unlocked with L mouse button to eliminate this issue. We have also adjusted default Film Quality Render settings such as Motion Blur and Vignetting to improve optimization on all machines. In the future we will be adding optional controls for these advanced visual options for players with more powerful GPUs.
