Matches now play out smoother!The following changes were made to ensure a better gameplay experience:If every player performs a jumping action or does nothing, the turn starts playing out noticeably faster. Added 5 new Win Poses for VIP DLC owners. Added 2 new Idle Poses available from the start. "Pants" option available in Settings now adds 3D modeled pants, not just a texture slapped on the character. The 3D model has been retouched and re-rigged to improve deformation, fixing issues like the neck bone affecting chin deformation. Fixed various minor instances of clipping issues of the 3D character model. Thanks for continuing to play J-Jump Arena! More content will be on its way, and if all goes as planned - J-Jump Arena will leave Early Access this year!

It's Time to Introduce 3 New Weapons! Kinetic Blaster A gun that fires an energy bullet that doesn’t deal a whole lot of damage, but pushes the victim with force! Good for pushing out of the map those poor sods who are too busy throwing grenades instead of finding a safer spot. Quacknator 9001 As deadly as it is adorable! This rubber duckling either grows or explodes at the end of each turn. The bigger it gets, the higher the chance it’ll go BOOM! Dangerous on smaller maps. Oh, and it floats on water, too! Super Revolver Extremely rare and works just like a regular revolver with one exception — it does double the damage! Stay alert if someone nearby manages to get their hands on it. Tutorial is now available! It's finally here! It probably should have been implemented in the game a while ago, but better late than never, right? This update is especially considerate of newcomers. An NPC named Ralph will now guide players through the basics of J-Jump Arena, so they can be less clueless when jumping into the actual game. Additionally, completing the tutorial rewards players with a brand new winning pose! Other fixes & changes: Fixed a bug where, for example, if a player had only one empty weapon slot and jumped into the pickup bubble with two weapons, the bubble wouldn't despawn. Added a sound effect for when the player reaches a checkpoint. The radius of bullet colliders has been slightly increased. Hello! I’ve recently been re-working some core gameplay elements, which led to this update. Here’s a list of what’s new! Jumping mechanic re-done! Picking where to jump has undergone a complete change. From now on, players will see the entire trajectory of the jump, including where they'll land. This will make it a lot easier for new players to ease into the game, as accidentally falling off the map won't be as common. Throwing trajectory! Throwing is different as well from now on, as all throwable weapons now have a visible trajectory. This means it's a lot easier to put that molotov exactly where you want it! Trajectory prediction was purposedly not included for the Bazooka, making it a more skill-oriented weapon. Pick-ups easier to pick! - 1 vs 1 Duel mode is now in the game! - 17 May 2024
Say hello to a brand new 1 vs 1 Duel mode! Let's sum up the update in a few bullet points: The new mode is available only when 2 players are in the game. For public games, if it's just 2 people in the lobby, 1 vs 1 Duel will always be one of the three match options available to vote on. 5 new maps have been added for this specific mode. They are symmetrical. The same weapons will spawn on both sides of the maps symmetrically. Every time your opponent is eliminated, you get +1 score. After each elimination, a new round will begin - both players will respawn and the whole stage will reset. The first player to gain score of 3 wins the match. This can be altered in private games. There is no turn limit. Match goes on until one of the players reaches the required score to win.

4 new weapons make their debut! Unholy Bomb A rare bomb with devastating effects! Not only it takes away 50% of player's remaining HP, but it also applies a fog curse, causing the player to have their vision greatly obscured! Mortar Mortar allows you to easily choose a place on the map, to which you will send 4 explosive devices raining down form the sky! Powder Keg When you choose this weapon, you'll jump like you normally would, with one exception! You'll leave behind a powder keg that explodes after several seconds. Teleporter A device that allows you to pick any place on the map, to which you'll smoothly teleport yourself to! Whether you want to get away, or reach a difficult place to get, teleporter has you covered! Welcome to hell! Hell is the theme of the new maps! 8 brand new maps are now in the game, accompanied with completly new & fitting music tracks!
- Some bug fixes and imrovements! [v0.67] - 2 March 2024
Change log: Changes were done to the netcode. They should altogether result in more fluent multiplayer experience. Fixed the issue where players sometimes would get stuck to ice, unable to jump up from it. Fixed issues with scoreboard sometimes not proreply displaying mid-game and post-game. Fixed an issue where the gained experience sometimes wouldn't calculate properly when playing with bots. Maps that had required player count from 4 to 10 were changed to from 5 to 10. Fixed the issue where in private games Custom Settings would always be enabled, after hosting a room.

Portugese language has been added to the game! I'll be honest - I've just used online tools to translate the game from english to portugese. I believe it's still better than nothing, for those who don't speak english too well! From now on, VIP Upgrade DLC owners are not just able to host private games - they're capable of completly customizing their match settings! Here's a list of things that the host can now set up: How much time do players have to make a move. How many turns have to pass for a game to end (For Last Man Standing it is turn limit after which nuke falls). Players' starting HP. For how many turns do players have to wait after being eliminated Jump power modifier. Enable or disable nuke for Last Man Standing mode. % chance nuke has to explode each turn.
