  Seeing Kena: Bridge of Spirits land on Nintendo Switch 2 is one of those things that both makes sense and almost feels a bit wrong. When it was first announced during the PlayStation’s June 11, 2020, Future of Gaming showcase, it seemed like the kind of game that would define the creative spirit of the PlayStation 5 in the same way Knack was supposed to with the PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, I missed out on Kena: Bridge of Spirits when it launched in 2021, primarily due to financial constraints related to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with a new console launch comes a new chance to experience the game, and as I said, it kind of makes sense given how much of the game was inspired by Nintendo games that it would finally find its home on a Nintendo console.   Holiday Hats Available Now ‘Tis the holiday season, and getting quite chilly, The Rot have been feeling so jolly and silly! We’ve hidden more hats for some holiday cheer, If you don’t find them quick they might all disappear! From today until January 1st, you can uncover 6 limited-time Holiday Hats. 3 will be available at the Hat Cart, but for the others, you must track down and defeat some holiday themed Cursed Chests. The 2.06 patch includes the following: Bug Fixes Fixed issue that prevented seasonal hats from transferring to New Game+. If you're experiencing this issue, load your save with the hats before loading back into your new save to correct this issue.   We've been taking a look at improving stability and have released a small patch focusing on fixing some troublesome crashes. Thank you for your feedback and we're looking forward to continued support. The 2.04 patch includes the following: Fixed a crash on startup that occurred on Windows N and KN versions. Added a message to crashes caused by corrupt game files that instructs players to verify files and check hardware. This was by far our most common crash, so we hope to elevate this self-fix to all affected users. If you're still experiencing crashes, we hope some of these troubleshooting steps will help you. Its been a fun week for us seeing all your amazing new shots captured with the updated photo mode features. We've made several stability improvements and corrected a few bugs in this patch. Stay tuned for additional fixes and updates. Thanks for your support and enjoy the adventure! The 2.03 patch includes the following: Fixed issues making it possible to collect more than 100 Rot when replaying the game in New Game+. Fixed a bug with the Shrine Guardian Combat Reflection Trial that prevented the bonus objective "Cleansing Strike" from being awarded. Crash fixes. Kena Outfit animation improvements and fixes. Fixed issue allowing the Woodknight to attack during spawn animation.

  Just a few days to go! Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be available on September 27th with all "Anniversary Update" content included. We wanted to highlight some of the exciting new content from the update! New Game+: Begin a new adventure after completing the game, starting with all your abilities, upgrades, and Rot as you face new combat encounters, challenges and unique enemies. Spirit Guide Trials: Sharpen your skills and unlock rewards in The Trials, including: Wave Defenses, Obstacle Courses, and the chance to take on key boss-fights again and again. Charmstones: Discover Charmstones that can be equipped to provide different advantages and disadvantages to customize your playstyle. Outfits: Unlock brand new outfits for Kena to wear by mastering the Spirit Guide Trials.

• Kena Photo Mode Features and Updates - 21 September 2022

  Only a few more days before Kena's release on September 27th and we can't wait to see what you capture with Photo Mode! You can activate Photo Mode all along your adventure and capture epic and adorable photos of your journey. Characters (including all the Rot!) will freeze by default once you enter photo mode, but you can “resume action” to bring them back to life. As you move the camera, they will keep their attention on you; following and engaging with the camera as you set up your perfect shot. For the Anniversary Update, brand new poses have been added and Photo Mode has been enhanced with Lighting Setups, Camera Animation, and more. You'll also be able to change Kena's outfit to show off your best looks.
