Dear Sect Masters, long time no see! It has been a long time since our last update. We know that many Sect Masters have been worried that we might have abandoned the game and disappeared, but rest assured: we have not given up on The Lost Village. During this time, most of the studio's efforts have been focused on our new project, Sect Origins. The number of bugs in the project exceeded our expectations, and since our studio consists of only a handful of people, we have been extremely short-staffed. Meanwhile, The Lost Village was originally developed using Unreal Engine 4.26, while the latest version of the engine has now reached Unreal Engine 5.8. Upgrading across several major engine versions brought many problems we had not anticipated.
