Changes: 1. Tweaked Yeti's movement speed a bit more on the higher difficulty. 2. Because of the increased speed and changes to the AI, the Yeti will now spawn less frequent. It's also not final, because the plan is to have roaming Yetis instead, but this will take a bit more time, because it adds a few other problems. Fixes: 1. Fixed some camera collision issues of the issues that were happening in the caves and lightning bugs upon existing. However, it's not fully complete. 2. Minor collision / stuck issues.

What's new: 1. Added a new mechanic that works during the night: Campfires. They only light up during the night (even on Hell difficulty), serving as warnings for more dangerous areas, doodads and also also slowing down the Yeti by a large margin, making escape much easier. The Yeti has to pass trough the fire for this to work. The player is immune to fire (subject to change). Fixes: 1. The amount of snowfall is much more consistent especially at higher speeds. 2. Minor map issues.

Changes: 1. Slightly increased base Yeti movement speed. 2. Yeti's maximum run speed is now based on the difficulty. 3. The Yeti can now be slowed down by having him hit trees. (I would also like to add other obstacles in the future, especially for the night time). Fixes: 1. Fixed an issue that caused the Yeti not to activate when spawned.

Fixes: 1. Reworked yeti AI (again).* *Instead of using senses (hearing / sight), it now has an aggro radius; The problem with the old system was that, because the speeds involved and the fact that the map is inclined and the senses are located within a sphere, if the player *suddenly* went too low of the Yeti (for example on a steep fall) it would've left the sense sphere radius, making the beast stop. The solution to this would've been to increase the sphere radius, in order to properly encompass the place where the steep fall happened, but this would have also increased his overall sense range, making it very hard to impossible to lose it; The current solution implented in this patch is not elegant at all but it gives better results; I dont expect it to be permanent at all, but for now it works well enough. Changes: 1. Changed mouse cursor (it's still placeholder, but it's no longer a white cursor). 2. Changed the initial starting zone, to make it easier to select difficulty, especially for new players. 3. Tweaked physics while player was in the air. 4. Right mouse (hold) will now apply breaking friction (final values are WIP). Fixes: 1. Escape now resumes game too (you no longer have to click on resume). 2. Flashlight is toggled with , no longer with . 3. Restarting game now properly resets timer. 4. Flags and trees will no longer spawn beneath or on frozen lakes. 5. More changes so its even harder to get stuck.

Changelog What's new: 1. Changed the snow texture and snow material. It looks much better, during the day and especially during the night. 2. Rewrote yeti AI to allow more changes in the future. It no longer simply spawns and chase the player until it gets stuck; it will now spawn, see the player (via sight), and chase the player until it loses sight or hearing of them (it can still get stuck, however, it's still WIP) 3. Removed speedometer. 4. Small lightning changes. 4, Added a bit of film grain. Fixes 1. Tweaked light cycle transition, its smoother now (but I dont consider it finished) 2. Changes on the map to make it harder to get stuck.

Changelog Fixes: 1. Each time the game score updates it runs a check where it encrypts the current code and hash compare it to the variable lastcode. At the end, if this turns out true, then it uploads the score (based on difficulty) and then encrypts that score and saves it as lastcode. It would now take a serios effort and nobody in their right mind would undertake to find the key to the encryptor to hack the gamescore. 2. Yetis now properly despawn. 3. Yetis will NOT despawn if HELL is selected, making this difficulty progressively harder. 4. Small spawn location tweaks.

Changelog What's new: 1. Added master volume control in the options menu. 2. Much better flag hit indication. It will clearly flash with a very strong emissive color, very visible during night day. Fixes: 1. Fixed the Yeti's 3D sound envelope. 2. Fixed one of the cliff models not being drawn trough Nanite, generating some performance dips.

Changelog What's new: 1. Flags will not flash green for a second, to make it clear they have been touched. 2. Restarting the game will no longer produce a loading screen, so it should be more or less instant. 3. Changed the start screen to make it more clear on how to select difficulty, and what each does. 4. Changed some fonts and colors to make some text more readable. 5. Added another spawn point on the map. Fixes: 1. Fixed the yeti hit box, it should no longer be possible to be touched by it and not lose. 2. Fixed an issue that occurred sometimes that caused the character to get stuck on a weird angle. Not 100% sure it is fixed, but I wasn't able to replicate it anymore. 3. Fixed some typos.

First beta public build is now live! Have fun! Changes from the previous version: Changelog Version 0.8 Beta - November 11, 2022 (first public release!) What's new: 1. Added a proper Yeti / Monster animated model, instead of the old placeholder. 2. Added more flavor on the map, which is still WIP. 3. Changed some placeholder particles to a more final version. 4. Changed the way the online leaderboard works; it will now compare the player's current score to the old one, and only upload it if it's higher. Fixes: 1. Disabled the snow deformation for now, until I fix the performance issue. On decent machines it was negligible, but on the lower end (below a GTX 1030 with 3gb vram) it got bad. I know why it's happening and I will have a fix for it, but until then it's disabled. 3. Fixed an annoying crash that happened sometimes because of a bad texture.
