• New Story Expansion! - 23 May 2026

  Welcome, adventurers! Today brings another story expansion for Between Two Worlds! This is an entirely free update which continues the story on the "Good/Harem" path. In addition to expanding on the story even further, this update serves to set up the possibility for an official sequel to the core game.This update is actually bigger than the initial Chapter 1 release of the game was! It adds ~400 new renders and animations. You can access the new story via the "Stories" section on the main menu.IMPORTANT NOTES:1) You must have completed the game on the Good + Harem route to unlock this. You should also have played the first story for the path.2) The stories are done via a special module in the engine which does not allow for saving your game. • Patch notes for small update! - 29 March 2026

  This patch is to address a few issues, primarily with missing translations. There were a small number of missing translations for French and Italian that resulted in blank lines of dialogue for players in those languages. These have been corrected. In addition, there was an incredibly rare bug with language selection that would put players into a crash loop when launching the game. This has been fixed as well.Finally, I wanted to take a moment to remind folks that if they complete the game, there is additional content available to them via the "Stories" selection on the main menu. These are entirely free content updates that have been added to the game since it was launched. There is another story coming soon, and this patch adds the advance functionality for that to be added. • New preview for the new story/update! - 23 March 2026

  Hello, adventurers! Dropping by to give you a new preview of the update that I'm working on for Between Two Worlds! This update will serve two purposes. One is simply to provide the fans of the game additional content. The second is to set the stage for a potential, and increasingly likely, sequel, to the story. If/when it happens, it will continue based on the good/harem path.As with the previous "Stories", this will be yet another free update. You've already paid for the game.   Hello, adventurers! It has been a couple months since I last spoke with you. Things have been super busy for us as we work on Darkness & Desire, along with another project that isn't quite ready to be announced yet. However, I am also always looking to add value to the original project, Between Two Worlds.If you didn't know, once you finish the game on at least one path (Good vs Evil), you open up additional content on the main menu under the "Stories" section. • New story/epilogue content added! - 22 August 2025

  Welcome, dear adventurers! Please, take a place by the fire. Pour some ale and get comfortable. Today, we are adding some additional end-game content to Between Two Worlds. This additional content is not intended to be a true end point for the story. It is just further fleshing out the results of the endings. In fact, these stories may even leave you wanting even more! Each story will give you an additional ~15 minutes or so of content. In total, there's another 300+ renders, and a dozen new animations. And yes, for those who enjoy it, each story also has an additional sex scene. For continuity purposes, the stories are using two assumptions: 1) The player was on the harem route 2) All characters survived the end of the respective evil vs good routes In order to unlock the stories, you MUST finish the game on at least one of the routes.   Just a quick announcement to let everyone know that I'll be releasing the new epilogue/story content this coming Friday, August 22nd! Don't expect a massive amount of new content. • Preview of new content! - 16 July 2025

  Hello, adventurers! As some of you already know, I've been working on adding some additional content to the game. I'm calling this content "Stories". Basically, it will add additional story to the end of the game, going into events that happen following the conclusion. More in-depth epilogues, you might say. Right now, I'm doing two of them. One for the "True" ending (good + harem), and one for the Evil ending (evil + harem). You will need to complete the story on those respective paths to unlock the additional story content.Of importance is that this content will be completely and totally free. It's not a DLC that you'll be paying for. Once completed, it'll simply be patched into the existing game and everyone will be able to enjoy it.Today, I'm showing a preview of what the evil side story will look like. Enjoy :)-Droosk

• Language auto select - 6 July 2025

  The game will now automatically detect and set the players language based on their computers language, if they are using a supported language. Note: This only applies to new players. If you have played before, it will not make any changes.

• Patch to fix a large number of broken translations, particularly in French - 22 June 2025

  Captain Calysta tried to get revenge, sabotaging a large number of translations, mostly in French. Her pirate crew was successfully repelled, and the translations have been restored.

• Turkish Translation Support - 18 June 2025

  Rhaskin brought back ancient tablets which have allowed us to translate the game to Turkish. She is such a fun little bag of tricks!

• Patch to fix an issue in German and Russian translations - 14 June 2025

  Mr. Squeaks got into the files and chewed up a bit of the Chapter 3 translations. They have been fixed and the little mouse has been properly reprimanded.

• Small patch for Spanish translations - 14 June 2025

  This patch dispells the magic spell that Alorine placed on the Spanish translation, preventing about 50 lines from displaying throughout the game.

• Patch to fix endings - 13 June 2025

  Patch to fix a bug that was causing the game to end prematurely. If you had made a choice with the Oracle in a previous chapter, that choice was not being reflected in the code, causing the game to end shortly after the battle. This is, obviously, not intended. Endings now work correctly for those of you who had this impact them.
