• Disastory Demo V0.2.0 OUT NOW! - 31 January 2025

  Hi everyone! We've been working hard on getting a cool post-launch update ready for you! The free Disastory Demo now has a bunch of extra dialogue options and paths for you to try out scattered throughout the game! We've also added a few new scenario's and already tweaked a few things based on feedback we've received! Here's a short overview of things we've added and changed: - new 'Discussion' scenario in The Sunken Tankard - new small 'Fancy Ganchiko' scenario in The Sunken Tankard - new choices to make in the intro scenario - new choices to make in various scenarios in The Sunken Tankard - various ways of robbing various characters throughout the game - new scene teased when leaving the warehouse - new options when interacting with the ghost note in the warehouse - various fixes - various new options throughout the game - more ways to send us feedback - added credits screen Enjoy!

  Hi everyone! A lot has happened since we last posted here! We’ve been working hard on some major changes to the game, and one of the biggest is a brand-new name! From now on, Textbound Tales will be known as Disastory! We felt that Textbound Tales didn’t fully represent the type of experience we're creating, and we think Disastory is a better fit for what’s ahead! On the development side, we’ve been busy adding new content, overhauling systems, and reworking entire parts of the game to reach the level of quality you deserve. • The Frightfest Update - Patch Alpha 1.2.00 [Content Update] - 25 October 2022

  Frightening Festivities Check out the temporary Frightfest decorations that are put up all over the city! Listen to all the spooky stories the locals have to tell! Enjoy a Frightfest-themed drink at the bar! Hunt for Cronchies and sell them to "The Croncher"!

• The Prologue Update - 10 October 2022

  Today we're releasing the first complete version of the Prologue of Textbound Tales! You can download it right now FOR FREE by trying the Textbound Tales Playtest! This update also marks the start of the development of the open world areas. Included in this update: Slight overhaul of various scenarios. Added more NPCs and characters for various scenarios. Rewrote lore-breaking scenarios. Future plans: We wanted to give you an idea of what would still be coming to the playtest in the future Small special content update. 1st open world area. expanded open world with crafting and gathering scenarios. much more to come!
