- Bugfix - Notes for 15.3 - 17 March 2026
Hello all. Wanted to go in and do some bugfixing for Sunwave Hotel. Special thanks to everyone who has reported issues. I am hopeful that this update resolves many of the issues players had on Island 1. If more are encountered, please make a bug report, and I will work on a new round in April. I will already be working on another round in April for some tweaks to the second island's gameplay. It should just work to improve the storyline there. This fix may break some saves, and I apologize in advance to anyone who may need to load a save from an earlier island or start over completely.

The result, the redone gallery, is ready for the next update. This wasn't a difficult process,s but it was mind-numbingly tedious.Lucky for me, it is over and it was pretty much the last major thing for Sunwave Hotel. The coder is doing some final runthroughs, but I'm very excited to get to this point. Earlier in the week I got to test and unlock Achievements, in Steam, for my own game. Hello all! Hope you're having a good week and a good April. My apologies for being a bit quiet lately. March came and went like a storm, and now we're here in the 4th month of 2025. Holy shit. On the plus side, I've been working steadily with the artists and cracking into the writing to create the next big content update. It will probably not be the last content update but we are certainly getting there. This new update will feature 3 scenes with Kuhno, 2 scenes for Corsoni, and 1 final scene for our lovely shark girls Omi and Olera. NEWS The New Build is here. It's a small build but it adds a lot for everyone's favorite moocher. Vynore now has her mega scene and some smaller scenes early on in her relationship with you to help bolster the experience. Hello everyone, Sorry that things have been a little quiet. In the new year, January hit me like a train and then kind of ran me over a few times for good measure. But now things are back on schedule, and the next update is nearly here. All the writing is done, and we just need to have some of the final code mechanics fixed up, so I expect that the next update will come out in the middle of next week or early on the week starting on Feb 17. Merry Xmas everyone! What a crazy year it's been. I hope that everyone has gotten to enjoy themselves this month. I myself got a cold that lasted from pretty much Thanksgiving to a few days ago. On the plus side, I managed to put together a lot of art of the next major update but we also have this little small update to prepare for the new year. No new story content has been added but I have added the beginning of a new mode to play the game. Some users have requested a Visual Novel mode for Sunwave Hotel to have a more straight-forward playstyle and not the regular sandbox mode. So far the Visual Novel mode covers about half of the first island. This is kind of a demo within the game and I'll be looking for feedback from people to see if it is worth it to make the VN style available to the entire ride.
