  The unhinged slapstick comedy VR game WHAT THE BAT? is not only the winner of UploadVR's GOTY 2022 award but also getting its first major update today with fresh movie-inspired levels! For FREE! The update comes as a very strange love letter to Hollywood, set in the wonderful capital of baseball movie-making: BATTYWOOD! • 1.2.0 Update - Bug fixes, balancing and second screen smoothing! - 9 January 2023

  Happy New Year from everybody here at Triband! We have added smoothing to the camera being shown on your monitor. This doesn't change anything in the headset, but people watching you play will hopefully appreciate less dizzying movement. This update brings several bug fixes. Here are some notable mentions: Fixed issue where some players got stuck after completing a level. Fixed issue where text in the game did not load correctly if the system language was not one of the supported languages. To those afflicted, undskyld, anteeksi, Því miður, padon, etc. We have noticed that some levels are a bit trickier than we would like - so we tried to improve them! It is now easier to hit targets in "Baby Steps/Baby Food". The volleyball in "Island/Jaws" should be easier to hit. Game play elements in "Batville/Pinball", "Batville/The Big Lebatski" and "Fixing the Home/Pipe Dreams" are closer to the…

  We are so happy to see all of you playing WHAT THE BAT?! We have compiled a bunch of fixes and changes to balancing in this patch. The most notable are listed here: - The textures in Blockhead don't move around anymore. - The blue planet in Interplanetary can be moved again. - Baseball spawning in the boss fight has been fixed, making the fight a bit easier! - Many other small tweaks and fixes.
