  * Optimized the “A Leap in the Dark” chapter’s parallax starfield system, eliminating memory leaks that previously caused intermittent visual glitches and occasional unresponsiveness of the Exit Game button. The level has since undergone extensive testing, and these issues now appear to be fully resolved.

  * The left mouse button is now used instead of the "w" key to control the toad's tongue. * The right mouse button now initiates the toad's entry into the pipe junctions in the "Like a rat up a drainpipe" level, instead of the enter key.

  * Fixed a bug in the drainpipe level which caused the toad to become permanently paralyzed and unable to move, if it ate the spider and then was stung by a centipede. This would only happen if playing on tadpole or egg difficulty levels. * Added a new granddaughter to the list of names on the book cover. * Graphically re-mastered the book pages for better clarity. * The game now starts on "tadpole" rather than the very challenging "toad" difficulty level. * Uploaded a "hints" game manual to the Steam store page.

  * Fixed a bug in which the goanna failed to take into account that the player had chosen easy difficulty mode, when commencing its run from the bushes. * Moved the bolt slightly in the combine harvester level so that it is better aligned with the toad's tongue. * Unless you are playing on hard difficulty mode, bullants will only bite if they are not carrying food back to their nest.
