• New languages supported! - French, Spanish, German and Italian - 27 February 2025

  Hey all! Just got an itch to add a few languages to City Limits. So now City Limits supports French, Spanish, German and Italian. These translations are most certainly not perfect. To be honest with ya, it was more of a test for myself to see the work involved in setting translating in my games project. Turns out, A. Lot. Of. Work. But since there's probably less then a hundred words in City Limits, it wasn't too bad. And it felt wrong to not upload that work. City Limits doesn't get a ton of traffic so I'm not too worried. If you are native speaker of any the above mentioned languages and something's not right, feel free to reach out! Note: you may need to do a "Verify integrity of game files" after the update. • Leaderboards Fixed - 24 January 2025

  Hey all! Sorry this took so long but I think I fixed a bug with leaderboards. Some of you are probably like, "whaaa there's a problem with the leaderboards??". Well that's because it was only effecting some players. Should be working for every one now. :) Edit: You may need to do a "verify integrity of game files" check after the update. Hey I got a goal for you! Could we get the games review score to 10?? That'd be rad. Lets Steam know whats what. Enjoy! Space

• City Limits patch 15 - 8 March 2023

• City Limits v13 patch - 6 January 2023

  Hello everyone! This is just a small patch to fixe a couple crashes that were reported. One was related to the new free build mode. The game wasn't saving/loading the correct size of the island and this would cause a crash. The other was some bad copy/paste shenanigans :D Basically when game would check a certain tile for a building, the game would find it and then create an effect on a non existent tile. That is all! Enjoy :)

• City Limits Update 12 - 1 January 2023

  Hello everyone! Hope your day/night is going well. I have small update with a few adjustments and a new game mode! I adjusted some sound volume levels. The new game mode is a free city build mode. It allows you to adjust the size of the island as well place any building where you wish. I added a few extra buildings that aren't in the regular game modes. As well as tiles that you wouldn't normally be able to place. It is, along with the rest of the game, very chill. It's totally optional and it unlocks after playing at least one round in the regular game. If you make any cities, screenshot it and post in the community hub! :) This update will erase any current runs. Sorry about that. :( If you are enjoying City Limits please consider leaving a review!   Hello! Just a quick patch to add a few little qol features. -the airport now has a bar that fills so when it will be ready to use -the game now saves whether the board is expanded or not -fixed a bug where limited ui option would not show tiles until you place one That is all. Enjoy! Space

  Hello all! Hope you're doing well. After launch and seeing the feedback and reactions to people playing City Limits, it was evident that some polish was needed. This update is almost 100% polish It feels much better to play. This patch addresses just a few little things :) -f12 now works to take screenshots -updated leaderboards to be cleaner looking -added tool tip icons for some buildings -clearing buildings with spike towers rewards points now That is all!   Hello and welcome to the first community post for City Limits! It's nice to have ya. If you're here because you played my previous games, you might be slightly confused. What, no teeth? No bodily fluid? NO BULLETS?!?!?! It was time for a change. A palate cleanser. City Limits is a short, chill, city builder/puzzler. It's a game that asks the player what they want to give. Calm and relaxation can be found in placing buildings and listening to the chill 10 track soundtrack. Or you can dominate the leader boards by planning your cities, and executing cascading combos for all the points. So many points. I highly suggest using headphones while you play. Here's a thing someone said about the soundtrack: "It's soooooo chill" - Probably a chill person. Of course with the release of a new game, there may be bugs or tweaks that need to be made.
