On behalf of the entire PCM team, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very happy holidays! 🎄 Changelog: Race (Team-Time-Trial): Fix a possible classification difference between provisional race rankings and latest results page. It is now the 4th rider on the team who determines the team’s time for TTT rankings. Pro Cyclist: Fixed the bug which did not reset the Pro Cyclist points at the start of the new year. In order to maintain balance, the points awarded according to Pro Cyclist’s level have been revised slightly downwards. Cyclist friends and bike fans, A new update is available for PCM, after a week in Beta! Changelog: Pro Cyclist: Fix "SuperLeader" skill's bug which did not offer the bonus for the teammate. AI/Race: Fix the bug where early breakaway won nearly everytime on small continental races with slighty hill relief. Race (Individual Time-Trial): Fix energy “exploit” during Mountain Time-Trials (same fix as on patch 3 but for ITT's). Race (Team-Time-Trial): Improve AI: fix riders which were often dropped and most teams exploded because of too big differences between bad and good time trialists. Career: Improve rider's decline: now decline happens a bit earlier than before and few riders may have a very early or very late decline. Freshness/recovery system improvements during stage races: green energy gauge get less reduction for a given freshness. Remove a duplicate effect of fatigue during stage races in one-off mode. Race Gameplay/Physio: remove an effect that caused riders to have gradual decrease in watts during their second half of their green bar. Clean news on “month turn” if you have more than 5000 news to avoid a possible but rare block of the game with some mods. Fix a 3d-race crash. Modders request feature: if you have a U23 team with no real main team (link = team 119/free agents), the country set for transfer policy will be the U23 team. Cyclist friends and bike fans, A new update is available for PCM. Race Soften physical attributes effects (Stamina, Resistance): they act a little later on the green energy bar. Adjust Recovery & Freshness for stage races: a bit more green energy for a given freshness, and a bit less difference between riders for recovery between two stages. Fix energy “exploit” during long climbs (alternation Effort cursor 95/30% to empty then fill the red energy). A low effort means now a smaller power and thus cancel exploit’s effect. Pro Cyclist Objectives: races during targets give a bonus to “race-day condition” Objectives: fix the bug which displayed objectives for Pro Cyclist (footer and Riders page) Improve progression of Stamina and Resistance attributes. Hello everyone and welcome to our first devblog for Pro Cycling Manager 2023! This year we have redesigned the season rankings with several goals in mind: return to a unified system, improve realism and make the page more user friendly. Unified system For many years, PCM has had a system with multiple rankings: division rankings, Superprestige rankings… Not all races awarded points to all rankings, and it wasn't always easy to find your way around because of quite complicated rules. In PCM23, there is now a single world ranking: all riders and all teams can be found in the same system, regardless of the race level at which they compete.
