• Content Update! - 22 November 2023

  New stuff: Turrets that attack the player! 3 new equipment items, the scissorang, packapeanut, and box cutter! New sound effect when picking up money! Boss intro cards! Fixes: Music not playing inside the fishing areas. Melee attacks not registering properly. Enemy pathing being buggy when you hugged the top wall. Changes: Less boxes in levels. The player was getting too many items. In the Quincy fight, the laser used to kill you, now it should just push you away. Characters are cheaper to unlock. There are probably some more things that I forgot to mention.

• Small update - 30 September 2023

  New stuff! Large Pencil: Throw a large pencil that burrows through most enemies and walls! you just have to pick it up afterwords... Changes! Changed Spicy Coffee to not hinder movement if you are hugging a wall, this also makes it so you can actually move while hugging a wall. Added some GAMEOVER text after you die, and you will be booted back to the main menu after 3 seconds. Upcoming! I have a content update hopefully coming soon that will introduce some more things into Tax Evasion! New Items! New Enemies! New Rooms!

• Understanding more things. - 20 September 2023

  Added an NPC in the hole room to provide hints. Elevators now show a lock symbol when you cannot interact with them! Money moves faster after you clear a room of enemies. Chances to find red items lowered. Changed the Sticky Note item into a green item. A sign shows up above boss doors labeled "BOSS" so it's easier to understand when a boss fight is ahead. Glasses now provide a small damage buff.

• Some tweaks. - 20 September 2023

  Doors are easier to enter when you have higher movement speed. Donuts from "Not Your Sandwich" Are more visible. Thumbtack damage scales with the players damage. Tony no longer goes through walls. Audio settings are less touchy.

• Added Menu Button Inside Character Selector. - 19 September 2023

  Just a simple fix to go back to the menu while in the character selector.
