- Letter Factories are here! - 18 October 2023
In this content update, we've added a new optional feature: Letter Factories. What are Letter Factories? Letter Factories allow you to select a group of buildings, and save them as a custom factory, which you can then place in any level. For example, if you place all the buildings to make an A, and multi-select them... You can save that building configuration as a new A factory. Letter Factories retain their building count and cycles, so they're typically not the best option for optimizing levels. But they make it quick and easy to build recipes you've already learned. How to access the Letter Factory feature Since they can have a significant impact on the play experience, we recommend leaving Letter Factories disabled until you've completed 3 pages of levels (you will be prompted once we suggest you enable them). To enable Letter Factories, navigate to the Options menu and click "Lette…

Made a bunch of modding fixes, and also some smaller visual tweaks and bug fixes to the game Adjusted recipe font colors Converted between formats to fix some broken recipes (Previously we had to specify mirrored E as rotated 2x since they're identical now our internal format will allow either. This also helps modders) Modding recipes.json can now supports a ``"include_vanilla": true,`` field which will let you keep the original game recipes You can add a title.png file to your mod to override the game's title image (see example_mod as an example) You can make more than 36 levels Locked door is removed You can reduce the levels without the game crashing

- Make I before E and every other letter in optimisation puzzler Word Factori - 12 August 2023
Word Factori is a conveyor-belt puzzle game in which you plop down structures that bend, mirror, rotate or merge your resources in order to produce something new. So far, so Opus Magnum. The twist is that your only resource is a sans-serif letter "I", which you're manipulating and combining to make every other letter in the alphabet - and, in turn, to construct whole words to complete each level.
