• Progression Update (v913) - 11 May 2024

  Hello, and thanks for supporting Ducky's Delivery Service! Today's update (v913) adds a small change to the game's progression. You can now play the first three areas in a world in any order: So if you don't manage to get as many stars as you wanted in an area, you now have the option to mix things up and try a different area instead. This doesn't change how many stars it takes to unlock any of the special delivery stages, or how many stars it takes to clear the game. It just adds a bit more flexibility to the order you can play the areas in. You can use the launch option -old_progression if you want the game to keep working the way that it used to.   Hello everyone. I just got the news from Valve that Ducky's Delivery Service is Verified on Steam Deck! I always liked playing the game in a handheld format while I was working on it, so it's great to see that it's officially supported now. Thanks again for supporting Ducky's Delivery Service, and I hope you enjoy it whichever platform you play it on!

• Visual polish update (v910) - 26 July 2023

  Hello, and thanks for supporting Ducky's Delivery Service! Today's update (v910) adds a couple of visual polish improvements: Ducky's propeller now always rotates clockwise, regardless of which way they are facing Turning around looks a bit smoother. There's now one frame of animation when you turn around, instead of instantly snapping to face your new direction (see video below) These changes are purely visual and don't affect your movement physics, hitboxes, or any other aspect of gameplay. All of your scores, times and speedrun strats are unchanged. Thanks again for supporting my games, and have fun with Ducky's Delivery Service!

• Update Notes - v907 - 24 July 2023

  Hello, and thank you so much for supporting Ducky's Delivery Service! Today's patch notes just fix one scoring exploit: If you destroy a package (e.g. by dropping it in lava), you no longer get awarded a time bonus for picking up the next package. To be more specific, the game remembers how much time you were awarded for picking up that package and it makes you "pay back" that time before you start getting awarded time bonuses again. This fixes a scoring exploit where you could repeatedly throw packages into lava and pick up new ones, to generate more and more time bonuses. Thank you Blackberry Mochi for finding this exploit, and I hope you all continue to enjoy the game!

• Release date announcement! Wholesome Direct shirt! - 10 June 2023

  I'm in the final stretch of development, and I'm finally ready to announce a release date. Ducky's Delivery Service will release on July 20th! I hope you enjoy the full game when it's out, and I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone get their hands on it. In the meantime, please have fun with the demo on Steam! In other news, Ducky's Delivery Service was featured at Wholesome Direct 2023! Not only that, but we're one of the games featured on the Wholesome Direct 2023 shirt by The Yetee: Preorders are available through June 30th.
