  We have applied a hot-fix patch today for “River City: Rival Showdown” to address several issues with the game. 【Steam】ver1.0.2 Fixed an issue where the game does not register for the save data of “River City Saga: Three Kingdoms” to unlock the Riki story arc. Fixed other minor bugs We apologise for the inconvenience caused, and we thank every user for the continued support for the game.

• River City: Rival Showdown Patch 1.0.1 Patch Notes - 20 October 2023

  The update patch to Ver 1.01 releases today with the following changes. This patch addresses various in-game issues. 1. Turned vertical synching off, framerate locked at 60 FPS →The framerate no longer varies depending on the monitor refresh rate and is now locked at 60 FPS. 2. Pause Menu for local multiplayer →The 2P side player (guest) can now open the Pause Menu during local multiplayer. 3. Controller settings →Changed the default controller settings. * If the controller settings cannot be changed in your play environment, the following may help: 1) “Enable Steam Input” from Steam settings 2) “Controller Layout” → Select “Gamepad” (Please follow the above steps for each controller needed.)

While we are working immediately to resolve the issue, in the meanwhile we have found that disabling Steam Input would help to elevate the issue. Please proceed with the following steps to disable Steam input, and reboot the game: 1) Go to your Steam Library, and right-click on the game. 2) Select "Properties". 3) Proceed to "Controller", then at the right menu, select "Disable Steam Input" from the drag-down menu.
