• Upcoming Version 1.3.0 Update - 31 October 2025

  HAPPY SAIN† SHEOL version 1.3.0 is coming to Steam this November. A list of all updates and changes will be forthcoming in the next news post once the update has been pushed to Steam.Not to spoil too much right now but the update will include CG fixes and a number of minor bug fixes. That is all we can say for right now. The team is hard at work implementing the new update so stay tuned!

  We hope everyone has been enjoying the release of HAPPY SAIN† SHEOL. An update has been pushed out with a number of fixes. Patch Notes Scenario text related fixes Renamed save folder (in ...\AppData\Roaming\RenPy) The second point is important because of an issue stemming from users who previously purchased the game on Booth. Both builds used the same save data folder which caused unintended issues when having save data from the Booth version and then playing the Steam version. To avoid any further issues, the save data folder in AppData was renamed to something unique to avoid further issues. For affected users, it may be necessary to delete the existing save data and persistent file before starting a new game. • Demo Now Available on Steam - 21 December 2023

  We're pleased to announce that the HAPPY SAIN† SHEOL demo now available on Steam! While the game itself didn't make it in time for a 2023 release, users can still get a taste of what's to come in this demo. There are still some bugs that need to be fixed so check back for more updates in the near future.
