• The patch has been reverted (with some potential caveats) - 30 June 2024

  The game has been reverted. If you patched the game already, we apologize for the inconvenience but your save files (As well as mine) are gone. If you didn't patch and they're still gone, again - apologies for the inconvenience. We will be attempting to re-patch on the 2nd or 3rd once we've got the kinks worked out. While I realize it's little to absolutely no consolation - The new companion requires a game restart with a specific name. The name you would use as the main character to unlock this new companion is, "Venge" As an apology I will be giving out the specialty names in the discussion forums as well as a couple of hidden game tidbits to help you along your way.   We couldn't have done this without those of you reading this right now. It's been one year since the official release of The Tale of Galariel. It came at the heels of so many other great titles launching into steam (Some of which we collectively played at the time ourselves). The relief we felt when we finally launched a finished game gave us all such a wonderful sense of accomplishment and we all could breath easy for a bit... Until we decided to do it again. After four-ish years of a single dev into double devs, into more and more people joining in to help make this game come alive it became apparent that we wanted to keep going. The irony is not lost on me - Consuming something filled with so much greed and gluttony is likely to make ones stomach turn. They do simmer well, though. • Mild fishing patch - 27 June 2023

  Hello there intrepid adventurer! I appear to have lost a few recipe cards while I was out ice fishing. If you wouldn't mind finding them for me, you are welcome to keep them! I just don't want them to go to waste. I had to run back to my cabin due to the cold to get my coat and I slipped on the ice, dropping three of them in the process. Do be cautious though; They may be in the possession of some nasty critters!

  Demo updates: I know we've spammed the Demo Updates recently, the reason why we're doing this is because we want to make Galariel as best as we can, so Finding spelling errors, small bugs, and so one are our goal.
