- Update 2.6.8 — The Bard's Studio is open - 15 October 2026
New: the Bard's Studio There's a new corner in the Arcade. It's a small music studio where you write your own tavern tune. Three instruments: piano, folk harp and recorder. Each one sits on its own track with its own volume and mute. Piano roll: click to place a note, drag to make it longer, click it again to remove it. Space plays and stops, and Ctrl+Z undoes. Songs run up to 3:00. You can set the tempo, choose 3/4 or 4/4, and use a scale lock (D Dorian, G Mixolydian and more) so that every note sounds like it belongs in the realm. Examples to learn from: Greensleeves, Ode to Joy and Scarborough Fair, all public-domain tunes. Load one, listen, then make it yours. Save and export: keep your songs in My Songs and export any of them as an MP3 file to your computer. Share with friends: press Share to copy a song code. When a friend pastes it into their Studio, they hear your song and can e…
- Update 2.6 — Heroes of Legend - 15 October 2026
Update 2.6 — Heroes of Legend Every hero, their own way to fight The old shared skill picker is gone. All 31 heroes now carry three skills of their own: Skill I at level 1, Skill II at level 15, and an Ultimate at level 30 Fire, ice, poison, shadow, holy light, shields, healing — swapping heroes now changes how you fight Skills fire on their own when ready; the rings above your health bar show what's coming Your Ultimate charges during a run. Let it fire automatically, or switch on Cast ultimate manually (on the pause screen) and save it for the boss — press R or the arena button Every 20 levels your skills rank up (I–V) and hit harder Deeper dungeons got a little tougher to match. Your run should feel stronger, not easier. Seventeen heroes, reforged 17 heroes return in brand-new heavy armour art with new portraits — Aureos, Solveig, Solenne, Draveth, Nyx, Seraphel, Yen and more Torvald…
- Update 2.5.0 — Every Chest Is Earned - 6 October 2026
Chests now drop only for heroes who hold to the very end. Opening them hits harder, Mythics get a stage of their own, the Arcade unlocks as you grow, and the deeper dungeons bite back. Chests no longer come for free. A chest can now drop only when you hold the line until the very last second of a run — and even then, it is never guaranteed. When it does drop, you will know. That is the whole point. Chests drop only from runs you finish to the end A small hint under "How long will you hold?" reminds you what is at stake When a chest drops, the reward screen lights it up Opening a chest feels like opening a chest Since every chest is now a real prize, opening one got the treatment it deserves. Golden light behind the reel while it spins A flash and a burst of sparks the moment it lands — bigger for Epic and Legendary The result pops in instead of just appearing MYTHIC. Pull a Mythic out o…

CRT, Retro, Modern and Cinematic modes Find them at the top of Settings, or click the new TV button next to the dungeon name to switch on the fly Purely visual — no effect on gameplay. Off by default. Dungeon Panel Overhaul New ornate frame around the whole dungeon panel New header with a tier badge showing which tier you're running Tier cards now spell out Reward and Danger at a glance "Top drops" now shows each item's Power instead of its gold value Redesigned hotbar: potions, speed control, auto-potion and repair are cleaner and easier to read Rotating tips on the idle screen while you pick your endurance New entry card when you step…
- Anvil Life 2.0 — Reforged: it's a whole new game - 5 October 2026
Remember Anvil Life? If you played it back in 2022, thank you — and I'm sorry it wasn't better. Over the past months I rebuilt the whole game from scratch, as a solo developer. Here's what 2.0 is about. One more wave, or walk away now? Pick a dungeon and how long you dare to stay. Every kill loads loot onto your back — but none of it is yours until you get out alive. Hold to the end and keep everything plus a chest. Leave early and save about half. Fall, and you leave it all behind. 15 dungeons, 5 tiers each From Goblin Cave to the Court of the Grave King, on Normal, Nightmare, Abyss, Inferno and Sovereign. Legendary and Mythic drops get their own moment, and bosses show up when you least expect them. Forge a legend 9 gear slots, 6 rarities, +1 to +10. The first five upgrades always hold; after that, every strike is a gamble. Tip the odds with 20 materials, runes, papers and totems — an…
- Smooth as Steel — Update 2.3.7 - 4 October 2026
Heroes of the Anvil, The last few updates (2.3.2 → 2.3.7) had one goal: make every second you spend in Anvil Life feel smooth. We hunted down hitches, rebuilt slow screens from the ground up and listened to every report you sent. Here is what's waiting for you. ⚡ Smooth play, everywhere The game now uses your graphics card again. Older builds drew everything on the processor to help stream capture. That was the main cause of the stutter. If OBS ever shows a black window, one switch fixes it: Settings › Window › Streaming compatibility. Dungeon runs at 1×–4× are much smoother. Hit effects no longer force the fighters to be redrawn, and monsters are prepared before they step in. A run timer that never stutters. Whole seconds now roll over like an odometer, driven by your graphics card, and stay perfectly in step with the fight at every speed. Prefer the classic 12.3 s look? Switch it on i…
- Anvil Life — Update 2.2.6 "Rags & Ruin" - 2 October 2026
A new trick for the Forge, a lifeline for empty-handed heroes, and clear rules for when your bags overflow. New: The Rag Doll A stitched little charm that wants you to succeed. Find it at the Totem Stall for 500,000 gold + 5,000 dust. When it wakes, it rolls a random bonus of +1% to +5% base upgrade success (most often +2% or +4%) and keeps it for 2 minutes, stacking with totems, papers and every other bonus. It isn't a slot totem. It works the moment you buy it, so both your totem slots stay free. You can buy it from the Totem Stall or right inside the Forge, in the Totems panel. A live countdown shows in both places, and the odds bubbles show what the doll rolled. Some say the doll smiles back at the lucky ones… Runs on real time. One doll at a time, then a short 15-second rest before the next. New: Wooden Sword Did the Forge take every blade you had? Grab a Wooden Sword from Services…
- Anvil Life — Update 2.2.5 Forged Anew - 2 October 2026
A big one. This patch rolls up 2.2.4 and 2.2.5: a fresh coat of forge-gold across the whole interface, a much tougher endgame, a rebalanced economy, 12 new cards for the Duel Hall, and a pile of quality-of-life fixes. Endgame Is Back On The Menu The late dungeons were giving in too easily. Not anymore. Storm Spire, Shadow Depths, The Abyss and Hall of the Gods hit much harder. Monster health and damage were raised together with the Power requirement, so the number on the card tells the truth: Storm Spire — 9,990 Power Shadow Depths — 17,800 Power The Abyss — 33,800 Power Hall of the Gods — 54,800 Power Frozen Depths, Verdant Ruin, Oblivion Caves and Cursed Cathedral are a little tougher too. Low mana now really slows you down. Below half mana: −18% attack speed. Below a quarter: −35%. Empty: −50%. A blue glow around the arena warns you when you're running dry. Manage your mana potions!…
- Anvil Life → v2.2.3 - 2 October 2026

Goblin raiders and goat corsairs roam the early floors, druids, warlocks and death lords haunt the mid-game, and two-headed ogres, lava apes and a twin-headed hydra wait in the deepest dungeons. Every dungeon now has a fresher, more varied enemy roster, including the endgame trio (Frostfall Citadel, Bleeding Moon, Grave King), which now feel distinct from one another. New hero art: Halvard, Korvath, Kessa, Ophir, Marek, Ilyra and Aldric have all been redrawn. New pet: Quill. Plus 17 companions received brand-new artwork. No more stray blips while you listen to your own music. Better loot sounds. Drops now land with soft, textured cues by rarity instead of synthetic beeps; chests, coins, dust and purchases got gentler sounds too. Open All, your way. With several chest types in the vault, "Open All" asks which ones to open — untick a type to keep it for later. Auto-spin for the Wheel of Fortune. A small "auto" toggle next to the ticket counter keeps the wheel turnin…

NEW: AUTO-REPAIR (manual play) - Open the ⚙ button next to your potions. The panel now has two parts: Auto Potion and Auto-Repair. - Turn Auto-Repair on, set the durability line (5–50%, default 10%) and pick which equipped items it may repair. - When a chosen item reaches that line, it is repaired with your gold on the spot — even in the middle of a run. - If you can't afford it, the repair button and a note under Enter Dungeon blink red: "Not enough gold — cannot repair". - With Auto-Repair off, an item at the line makes the repair button blink, and a one-click Repair appears under Enter Dungeon. - Auto Dungeon is unchanged: it still does its own repairs between rounds, and now says clearly…
- ⚔️ THE GREAT REBALANCE — COMBAT & PROGRESSION - 21 September 2026
**Gear is now the main source of power.** * Rarity, upgrades, refinement, runes and your pet now have a much bigger impact on your damage. * Level and stat points still matter, but contribute less than before. * Your weapon now provides **60% of your total attack**, while the other 8 gear slots provide the remaining 40%. * Upgrades have been significantly buffed: **+5 ×1.52 · +8 ×2.30 · +10 ×3.60** item power. * Runes now scale with the power of the item they're equipped on. * Dungeons have been completely rebalanced around the new combat system. * **One-shot builds are back as an endgame reward.** High-end Mythic +10 gear can destroy most enemies outside Psycho dungeons in a single hit. * Enemies now deal more meaningful damage, making **potions and survival** important during longer runs. * Fewer kills, but **more rewards per kill** — gold, gear, runes, materials, papers and XP have a…

- Update 1.13.3 — Two New Arcade Games - 16 September 2026
Notes: TWO NEW GAMES IN THE GAME ROOM The Game Room grows from seven games to nine. HIGHWAY RUN Top-down endless driving. Four lanes, all one way, all of it flowing down past you because you are the fast one. Weave through cars, vans, buses, trucks, sports cars and motorbikes, each with its own speed and length. Arrows steer, up is the gas, down is the brake. Every near miss scores, and chained near misses multiply. Clip something and the screen shakes while dust and sparks go everywhere. The engine note climbs with your speed, backed by sixteen new sound effects. At least one lane is always open, so the road never fully closes on you. HEXA PULSE A small triangle circles a spinning hexagon while walls close in from every side. Rotate to the gap. Every ten seconds the walls come faster, the palette changes and the whole arena flips its spin. Your score is the seconds you survive. Both ga…
