- Final Update: The Anniversary Update is Live! - 27 June 2024
Hey Artists! I'm happy to announce the Anniversary Update for Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise is now live! This update adds a variation of every single map in the game called "Blank World" - it's a completely white canvas of every map currently available in Bombing!! 2! Now you can paint your whole world however you want it entirely from top to bottom. I've also added a Bombing!! bundle to Steam, where you can now get both Bombing!! games at a discounted price. On another note, as we've hit one whole year since Bombing!! 2's release, I also wanted to give the heads up that will likely be the last major content update for Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise. Hey Artists! The Skatepark Map update to Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise is now live! Take a break from all those "kickflips" and "Pop Shove-its" the kids are doing these days, and paint some sick pieces all over the ramps and buildings nestled deep in downtown Graffiti Paradise. Happy Holidays, Artists! As a little holiday treat, the Museum update to Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise is now live! You'll find a new map called "Museum" with a few classic art pieces! - New Content Update: HIllside! - 14 October 2023
Hello Artists! The Hillside content update is live and a new area in Graffiti Paradise has been unlocked! Hillside is a quaint little slice of a scenic port district that features narrow alleys, clustered rooftops and new places to spray up your work. Additionally a new tool can be unlocked in your roster; the Paint Gun! Featuring a water setting, it allows you to paint in those tough to reach areas and make more of a mess all over the world! - Quality of Life Update - 1 August 2023
Hey Artists! The Quality of Life update for Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise is now live! Here's a list of the changes and additions found in the update: Partial keyboard control remapping Collectible UI Indicators in the travel screen* Improvements to alpha value interpolation Rappel point visibility improvements Additional rappel points added to the level Aim reticle added to all tools Save Button to allow saving without leaving a level Experimental locked painting mode** Minor bug fixes and geometry adjustments * These icons will appear for users who have already cleared a level prior to this update only after they have loaded into the level. ** Please note that the locked painting mode is experimental and may not play nicely with all the game's systems as designed, but is there for users to play around with! - Hotfix: Global Mixer Setting Issues - 16 July 2023
Fixed an issue where some users were experiencing bad default global sound settings, resulting in audio failing to play correctly. If you experienced issues with game audio cutting out or being absent, this will likely address it.
- First Week and Future Plans! - 1 July 2023
Hey Artists! Wow we're already through the first week of Bombing!! 2 being out?! Time flies!! Thanks to everyone who has reported bugs, shared their awesome art and left feedback for the game; its all been so invaluable for development and I love seeing all the work everyone has been creating so far! :) For the next month or so I'm planning on focusing primarily on stability fixes while I attend to some personal matters and take a short break from development. Starting in August I'm aiming to develop a patch ready with some quality of life updates and minor gameplay adjustments based on some excellent feedback and suggestions I've received from players. Once that has been rolled out I'll be setting my sights on preparing some new areas to paint, new tools, and planning some new content for y'all to play with! Hey Artists! After many months of time and effort, Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise is finally available on Steam! It's been a long road to get here, but I'm super happy to finally release the game for y'all to play! don't forget to check out the Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise community pages to see what other artists are making, and to share your work for all to see! After I take some time to bask in this huge milestone I'll slowly be shifting my production focus on to more content, tools, characters and world to paint to give players even more stuff to mess around with in the coming months. - NextFest Announcements and Demo Fixes! - 19 June 2023
Hey Artists! First off, thank you very much for your support during the Future of Play event run by GLITCH! It was awesome to see so many new players picking up the game and painting cool new pieces. 👀 Tomorrow (June 20th at 5pm - 7pm EST) we'll be hosting an exclusive Steam broadcast here as part of NextFest! I'll be sitting in with JezziPlz while she plays the game of Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise. Hey Artists! We're almost one month out from launch and I have been heads down working on the game. I have some VERY exciting news coming up in the next few weeks I'm so excited to share but can't just yet! Patience is so hard... 👀 In the meantime, I've pushed a small update to the Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise Demo to tide you over! Hey Artists! This is the rough outline for what to expect from for Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise in the coming months. It's all potentially subject to change depending on development factors, the game's success etc. etc., but I figured it'd be nice to give y'all a sneak peek for what to look forward to! :) Release Plans Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise will launch on June 27th, 2023 where it will be available for $20USD. Its release will coincide with the ending of Steam's June NEXTFest 2023. At launch the game will feature four maps (Boardwalk, Docks, Rooftops, Subway), seven unlockable tools (Paint Can, Pen, Roller, Wheatpaste, Sponge, Eyedropper and Camera) and three pieces of gear (Stepladder, Radio, Lantern) to unlock. Hello Artists! Just a heads up that the public demo for Bombing!! 2: A Graffiti Paradise is available to download now from the store page! The slice of the game featured in the demo is the "Rooftops" map, a few of the tools you'll find in the base game, as well as some characters to chat with.
