After Unmechanical a few years back we started working on the massive singleplayer adventure game The Solus Project. http://thesolusproject.com/news/fullgameoutnow.jpg The entire 12+ hour adventure is now out! After 3 short months in Early Access the entire game is now released. All content, final and ready for you to explore! It took us exactly 1073 days to build the game and we hope that with your support we are able to carry on building more stranger and atmospheric underground worlds like The Ball, Unmechanical, and now The Solus Project. - No Man s Survival: The Solus Project s Looking Good - 22 January 2016
It’s probably not fair to either game to invoke No Man’s Sky when talking about upcoming sci-fi survival offering The Solus Project , but both the reddish-pink colour palette and the heavy use of tricorders (let’s not kid ourselves, eh?) does put me in mind of Hello Games’ newbie. The Solus Project is billed as a survival game, but more in the classical sense than the newer DayZ, Rust etc one. Devs Teotl Studios – who you may know from The Ball – and Grip – of Unmechanical fame – are at pains to point out it’s not a sandbox jobbie. It’s a singleplayer, linear game in which you will be attacked not by creatures, but by a hostile environment, as well has having to deal with hunger and thirst. Man, that’s easy: eat fingers, drink wee. Survivalists these days, honestly – no backbone, that’s their problem. …

Unmechanical, our adorable puzzle-exploration title just got quite a bit bigger! We've just updated Unmechanical to the Extended version, adding an entire hour worth of gameplay to the game entirely for free, along with Linux and Mac support! Unmechanical Extended Edition adds Mac and Linux support to the game, but it also adds a whole new chunk of gameplay - an alternative story of two little robots swallowed up by the darkness that lurks beneath their cities. After being separated in the caves and mazes, the only question that remains is whether you'll save your little friend, or will he save you? The Extended upgrade is free for everyone who already owns the game, and we've set a limited time launch discount for anyone who wants to join in :) Have fun!

Have You Played? is an endless stream of game recommendations. One a day, every day of the year, perhaps for all time. Unmechanical has gone so forgotten that even I, despite adoring it back in 2012, had entirely forgotten what it was about. Although I’m also old and stupid. What it is about is playing a little floating robot, with a tractor beam for a bottom, trying to solve a series of physics puzzles in a madly charming 2D puzzler. …
