Dear community, We would like to inform you that all servers will be closed this Thursday, 30th of June at 10:00 CEST (04:00 EDT). Please note that the game cannot be added in the Gameforge client anymore, and in case you have it installed, we recommend you uninstall it after the server closing. All TERA pages and channels will close shortly after the service has been shut down. We would like to thank you one last time for being here with us, it has been a decade full of action, challenges, fun with friends and legendary battles, and we wish you all have some great memories to keep forever with you from TERA.

After close to 11 years, the long-running MMO Tera is shutting down. Publisher Gameforge explains in a blog post that servers are shutting down on June 30 at 1am PST / 4am EST / 9am BST as developer Bluehole is "no longer able to offer you the exciting and satisfying content you deserve". "Unfortunately, we come bearing bad news: Tera's developer, Bluehole, has decided to cease work on Tera," the team says. "After much consideration, the team in South Korea has come to the conclusion that it's no longer able to offer you the exciting and satisfying content you deserve. As the last remaining publisher of Tera, it is with a heavy heart that we must respect Bluehole's decision, and will also have to shut down the game." Who’s that hiding in the bushes? It’s the Easter bunny, and he has masses of eggs in tow for all our adventurers. Open the eggs and, with a little luck, you’ll get exclusive Darkan’s Pink Wings, awesome mounts like the Mighty Kami and the Almighty Flying Saucer, tiny UFO pets, or an Interstellar Invader outfit! The best thing is: you get to decide how far to push the envelope and when you want to open the eggs to receive your reward.
