REANIMAL – Bugfix Patch & HDR Update With this patch, we’ve addressed the most critical issues found in the latest DLC, The Prisoner, for REANIMAL, including DX11/DX12 crashes and a common softlock that could occur while playing the DLC. We’ve also added a few quality-of-life improvements for players using HDR. HDR improvements We’ve made several fixes and improvements to HDR, including improved DLSS quality and a fix for an issue where the wrong DLSS setting was displayed in the UI. We’ve also made improvements to color and contrast and added support for HDR10+ GAMING. Hello everyone!We just wanted to let you know that we are aware of issues resulting in crashes and black screens following the release of our DLC, The Prisoner. We hereby want to briefly address this issue: It stems from a problem with Shader Model 5.0, a software common across a wide range of GPUs, which causes the issues on both DX11 and DX12. This problem "only" affects PC players, as consoles do not use Shader Model 5.0.We are actively working on a solution to this and other known issues and will release a patch as soon as possible. A patch is currently in testing to ensure the issue is completely resolved across the board. We will provide updates as soon as more information on release timing of said patch becomes available. While we are not able to respond to every post or bug ticket, rest assured that we read and digest them all.

This means that disconnects will hopefully happen a lot less frequently. Hello everyone! We have just pushed patch 1.5 live, this is an updated version of the patch that was on the developer branch that you can find information about here - Dev Branch Announcement This patch addresses some of the most critical blockers found since the game was released, includes some hardware related fixes and finally a change in how the network traffic is being routed when playing online. This is a step towards more stable online play, especially in regions where Epic Online Services backend servers are not operated locally. There is still a ping threshold of 300ms in the game where the game disconnects to avoid potential game breaking desyncs.
