I was curious to try BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW , largely because it arrived in the first month of a new year. It felt like an appropriate time to dive into something unsettling, especially given the current state of the world. As is often the case when exploring indie horror, however, caution is required. Unfortunately, BrokenLore: UNFOLLOW impressed me by how quickly it became frustrating. It joins a growing list of horror titles on Steam that struggle to understand their own themes or what truly makes a game frightening.
