  Townies, Over the past week, our servers were hit by a series of DDoS attacks that caused intermittent outages, disconnects, and downtime — including a prolonged incident starting July 28th. Our team worked around the clock with our hosting & security partners to investigate, apply protections & stabilize things.Servers are back online & stable at this time We're continuing to work with our infrastructure providers on additional protections to help prevent this from happening again.We know these outages were frustrating & we appreciate your patience. • ⚠️Notice on Service Disruption for ToS2 Servers + ToS1 Mobile Platforms ⚠️ - 29 July 2026

  Townies, We wanted to share that we have been & are experiencing unprecedented Distributed-Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks that are impacting Town of Salem 2 servers. This is separate from the couple issues we faced immediately upon launching the patch live. We have been actively working to mitigate the DDoS attacks. Unfortunately, one of the security measures affects Town of Salem 1 mobile users. We are continuing to monitor & address these issues.   Howdy Townies, Wanted to give you all a quick update on our status as well as highlight some of the new things that you’ll start seeing.The backend update itself was a bit rocky upon going live with server crashes & newly introduced issues/bugs, however we think we’ve got most of those issues sorted at this point with a few issues remaining (related to the Cauldron, cosmetics, F2P keys & a few others). The initial crashes were a combination of how the new backend was interacting with our servers + game code (some being unnecessary legacy code) as well as some oversights on our part.
