• Major Update - 0.4.0 - The Questing Update, part 2 - 6 July 2023

  Hello everyone! We have published the 0.4.0 update. This update is expanding on the last update, the questing update. Because the last update was mostly focusing on the backend of the game, last month we could more focus on creating actual content for the game. We have created a few NPCs with more properly fleshed out questlines and made cutscenes for them! What's new? This update is best experienced blind, so there won't be extra detailed patch notes this time around. To see what is new, just start a new game! There should play a new cutscene at the beginning. Currently we have added one major NPC quest line, but we plan to add more in the future. • Major Update v0.3.0 - The Questing Update - 17 May 2023

  Hello everyone! Yesterday we pushed the version 0.3.0 update. This update includes Quests and a Journal to catch up on them We have also made the decision to remove the intro section of the game (the parts with the autumn fog etc...). We have plans to add an intro back into the game in some form but that comes in a later update. Quests Quests are short tasks for Mico that mostly revolve around helping other Pandas in the world. These usually grant the player a reward and make the NPCs happier! We hope that you enjoy the Quests that we have added, we want to use them to tell our world's stories to you and have plans to add more in upcoming updates. Where are the Quests?   Major update 0.2.0 - NPC & Day update Pandas are ALIVE - - AND emotional! It’s time for our major update and this time the villager pandas are actually doing things rather than just standing around. We have musicians, workers, cleaners, timber pandas, miner pandas etc - and most important of all, the pandas like (or dislike) things around them now! While one panda might become happy seeing penguins roam around, another might consider them as a nuisance. Try lifting a decoration and bringing it to a panda and see how they react. Main Changes 🐼 Days go on and change throughout the game. The actual visuals and sunlight changes on the islands accordingly. 🐼 NPC’s are alive now with personal work animations and likes & dislikes. This update is focused on bug fixes and some quality of life changes. Note : Changes with the 🐼 icon were suggested by the community! Please Note: The save file system has been overhauled. If your old save file seems to cause problems after this update, you can get rid of it by manually deleting your “dpg_dancingpandas” folder.
