Set in a hard sci-fi universe, Miramar follows a group of Tac Marines sent to investigate why contact has been lost with a far off colony. Exploration, turn-based combat, and roguelike gameplay collide. Can your squad survive? Core Features Select squads of 4 marines from a roster of over 10 distinct characters each with unique abilities. Explore the colony as you investigate the fate of the people who were living on this world. As you explore, battle a wide range of enemies including Infected Colonists, Mechs and Blight Creatures. The colony is a bespoke design, free of randomly generated elements. The world must be explored, doors unlocked, shortcuts found, new areas uncovered. Each visit to the colony can help to reveal more of its secrets. Turn based combat utilises a timeline mechanic to determine turn order. Using skills to manipulate the turn order is key to surviving the games challenging combat. Take on the games very challenging boss encounters. Learn which characters can complement each others skills. Certain squad combinations can unleash devastating damage or be a ring of steel if their skills are utilised correctly. Between missions to the colony, retreat to the Operations Centre to heal up, change squad members, craft items and get new orders. The Marine Commander will narrate your missions, acknowledge your successes and ridicule your failures. Level up each character to unlock new skills and improve their stats. Unlock blueprints to allow you to craft and equip powerful items. Each Marine can equip up to 2 stat boosting items. Death is not the end. When characters die you have a choice - continue to explore the colony by replacing lost characters with other unique Marines from the squad roster or revive your lost Marines and take them back into action. All 10 Marines maintain their level and can continue to improve their stats after they respawn. The catch? When you revive your squad, all of the bosses in the game world will also respawn.
