Hello all! Version 1.0 has been released! Thank you for your support during our early access period. 1.0 comes with new content including a new boss, new waves, new spells, major performance improvements, and bug fixes! New Content New Waves 6 new extremely challenging waves, featuring new mechanics leading up to the final boss. While we will keep spoilers to a minimum, here's some good advice: do NOT touch the lasers! New Boss: Doombringer A boss that can turn the tide by unleashing it's own bullet hell against you, this boss can be a difficult challenge to overcome. Only bring the most finely tuned spells to this challenge! New Spell: Apocalypse Rarity: Legendary. Rapidly generate high damage explosions that target completely random locations anywhere on the screen. New Content We've added a new terrain system so that the map doesn't always look like the same boring grass fields. Terrain is now dynamically generated for each run and has multiple types of terrain that have different effects when you or enemies step on them. Grass Has no effect, just like before. Dirt Slightly slows you and other mobs when you step on it. Water Slows you and other mobs substantially but slowly heals the player over time (and only the player). Rock Grants additional speed to both you and enemies. Toxic Slows and deal damage over time to anything that steps on it. A HUGE shout out to ZeroByte011 for the original idea and initial code work on the new terrain system! Really amazing job he did. Loved that we were able to push it across the finish line and make something pretty amazing!

Hello all! We hope you enjoy this new content update! New Content New Spell: Blood Burst Rarity: Common. A triangular burst of low damage homing projectiles that utilize a new lifesteal mechanic. New Spell: Fusillade Rarity: Rare. A strange spell that rapidly fires projectiles towards the caster from random directions. New Spell: Scintillating Beam Rarity: Uncommon. A beam that fires in a clockwise pattern with high damage New Spell: Sunbeam Rarity: Rare. Fires a laser that persists on the screen for a period of time dealing constant damage to anything it touches. New Modifier: Lifesteal Grants health restoration on hit with a fixed cooldown. When at full health the healing is converted to "Overheal" which serves as an additional layer of duratility on top of max health. Each wizard has a fixed Overheal cap for that particular class. New Content Today we introduce one new spell, and a new character that starts with it. New Spell: Arcane Slash Quickly fires high damage slashes in front of you at a short range. A risk/reward spell with insanely high damage output, but requires you to walk towards your enemies to utilize it effectively. New Character: Spellblade Very durable and hits hard, but is slow at both moving and casting. Uses Arcane Slash spell type. Spell Changes Every spell in the game has been changed, some more than others. The goal of these changes is to increase player engagement by forcing you to play around your cooldowns more, instead of being able to easily spam the screen with projectiles. Small but significant patch. The purpose of these changes was to make the early game far more interesting by providing a lot of build variety early on. This has the obvious side affect of making the game significantly easier overall, and we will be addressing this in future updates. Changes: - Each wave has now been split into 2 waves of half duration, doubling the number of rewards you get. - Minibosses now provide a new spell slot, no longer opens an item shop. - You now get a guaranteed item drop after beating a boss or miniboss. - Nerfed some of the overpowered legendary mods. - Slightly reduced the chance of getting a legendary drop. - Reduced the rate of gem gain.
