• Greensward Update in BETA - 19 September 2026

  The next scenario, which expands on the new environments introduced in DEFRAG, is now available on the public beta branch. Completion of the DEFRAG mission is a pre-requisite to accessing this mission.This update expands on the forested environments adding new locations, enemies, and items and a new unique boss fight. It also removes the distinction between your total Grist and the Grist available/earnt during a mission, this should make in-mission shopping and other expenses more manageable. While all attempts are made to prevent issues, accessing the beta may render your save file incompatible with the stable release, and you do so at your own risk.

• Demo deactivation - 7 August 2026

  I have decided to deactivate the demo version of the game. The work it takes to ensure the demo is current and accurately reflects the main build is taking away from the time I have to work on all the fun content for the main game, and now that the game is in early access I feel that it's largely served its purpose. To that end, I will deactivate the demo on 9 August 2026, AEST. Vale!

• Mission 3: DEFRAG - 6 July 2026

  This update expands the variety of tools at your disposal in Grist, and adds a new enemy to use them on! To find the new boss fight, as well as new location types, select the "DEFRAG" program. This will be unlocked after completing the first program. The new items and weapons can be found be exploring the world, visiting shops to see expanded inventory, and by completing the sidequests. Additionally, you can now use items from the Field Inventory during combat. This update also includes a variety of bugfixes and improvements to general gameplay and stability.

  Hi there, This first update is quite a big one in terms of functionality and layout. It should have been up before launch but unfortunately there was a delay in gaving it ready.While your existing save will be functional, I do recommend starting a new game to take advantage of the tutorial and to ensure the save file is set up correctly for the future.
